Now the real question is.. can you tint the chrome slightly and even make it color shifting 😅

I'm gonna need everyone to go back and look at the first video on the channel. Fonzie went from being barefoot with a rattle can getting rid of chrome off of a VW grill to a massively successful businessman that is now making whole cars chrome. Congrats man!

Man I remember seeing the very first dip vid and nobody believed me when I said there is a paint that can be peeled and looks as good or better than paint or vinyl! Lol several years later BAM!!!!! fonz has blown up and has changed the car game big time!!!!! I remember seeing the movie johnny dangerously and thought it was so cool that they peeled the paint off to escape from the cops lol now here we are able to do it lol " duckies and bunnies" lmao

@@maxdrelinger agreed an R8 in this would be badass😈 Annoying how everyone buys an i8 and wraps it in the flashiest color to compensate for how slow it is and then post it on their tik tok because they couldn’t afford a Lamborghini and they had to find an alternative for the Lambo doors, so they got a Bummer instead. 🐽

I had my S2K at SEMA way back in 2007 and I wanted to do this to my car, unfortunately back then there were no chrome wraps or plastidip. It's awesome that you guys figured out how to make a peelable version. That M3 looks awesome. Can't wait till you release tints for the clear you're developing, a nice anodized teal close to Laguna Seca blue would look awesome on this car.

Amazing chrome effect. Tbh, the effect of the first coat is intriguing too... Like a jet hematite luster finish ❤

Now if only there was a way to combine this and the Hypershift & MOOD ring.

They used to do this on bicycles in France bitd. Google " Chromovelato " to see some pictures. It's just the purest, sweetest candy clear you've ever seen. Really pretty.

You'd sell alot of these if you make this into a sprayable aerosol! I know I'd love to paint my wheels a pealable chrome

Now THAT is the most GORGEOUS car effect I have ever seen... I can see why all you car painters would consider it the grail of colors now. AMAZING!

This isn’t really my style but I respect the hell out of it for just how impressive it is that you can achieve that finish with a sprayable, easy to install, temporary product. Very impressive!

Its all but easy to install. Achieving black base coat that smooth is a challenge in its own. Give it a try :D, because i did. Seriously impressive paint job!

Watching the effect on car change as it was being sprayed was magical. Seeing the chrome come to life was absolutely beautiful to watch. Such patience and attention to detail. The finished project is mind blowing.🤯👍👏

You crazy SOB's did it. I remember YEARS ago when ALSA chrome came out and I wanted it. You guys have put a chrome like finish in the hands of DIY's like myself. Mad props to you guys. I have two Veilside wide Z's that I may do this with.

I'm not going to lie, I don't usually watch the actual painting process, and when I do I usually 2x the playback speed...🤷🏼‍♀️It is what it is. BUT for this one, I watched the whole shebang AND I watched it at normal playback speed. Y'all are amazing, that chrome is INSANE, and I'm looking forward to dipping the wheels on my new ride!🤞 Wish me luck!

Not with the autoflex it won't. Which the autoflex is still the best in my opinion. They only sell the autoflex to professional paint guys. Gotta have a paint business to even sign up to get the stuff.

Color me impressed!! Wow… stunning results! The mirror effect is beyond what I have seen any of the DYC videos has shown. Some of the metallic and candy videos, I’m just like ehh it still has that orange peel texture look to it - this…. sir you have outdone yourself! WOW WOW WOW….

It's more forgiving because you can sand and polish before final aplication. Alot of work but worth it. Rattle can a whole car. wtf

i say this every time , the honesty is my favorite part about this channel a lot of companies will NOT tell you to wait before you buy their product .

Your videos are like therapy. No desires to spray cars. If I did, know what to order.

This is definitely the best chrome effect I have seen for vehicles. It came out so good. We have a similar issue in the nail tech world, if you don’t lay down a smooth foundation your end product won’t have that mirror shine and if you don’t have the correct top coat it will ruin the chrome effect.

When I still lived in south africa cape town, one of my neighbors sprayed their 2015 chevrolet lumina ss Gold chrome mirror effect ...it looks extremely gorgeous 😍
