I wish this soundtrack can be used to create an open world game set in Ancient Rome. Whether set in mid Roman Republic. The Punic wars. Macedonian wars. Late republic/early empire. Year of the four emperors. The Conquest of Britain. Crisis of the third century.

My question is: Is this music from actual Roman times? I don't know anything about music from those times. Did they have sheet music, in whatever form? I like this music. I ran across this video, while looking thru Turkish/Ottoman music (Old time rock!).
I wish I could rock out to this, but all it reminds me of is JOVIAN'S FUCKING INCOMPETENCE!
