Buying one of these in original condition tomorrow for $500 in Yachats, Oregon coast. What you are not being told is that this model is the new 250cc over-square short-stroke, big-valve motor introduced in 1967 which produced a claimed 25 bhp, which was given the Benelli-style "clamshell" head valve cover. The earlier 1966 and previous used the under-square long-stroke motor, which has the "knuckle-head" design, which looks cooler, but produced 18 bhp.

Head turner for sure. I recall they made a 350 that looked identical that people used to cheat and race the 350 in the 250 class.

Very nice. That's the most unique Harley I have ever seen, that looks like a regular style streetbike. Very nice and impressive though. It makes Billy smile ear to ear, which tells everybody that it's something special. ❤

It's different!

I had 1969 Sprint the model with the upswept exhaust and knobby tires the traded for the 1974 model. The 74 was when AMF was running the company and it had the 350cc engine.

What a fool will spent for it ,....it's an Italian AMF Aermacchi , with only has the Harley Davidson logo's at the tank , which makes it not a real USA Harley Davidson
