    Thanks Chad!! I know I have a lot of work to do on me being able to draw back, well especially if I am going to be doing a lot of shooting. The day we shot this video, we actually had been shooting about 3 to 4 hours and getting closer to the end of the day, we would stop and just set and wait about 15 to 20 minutes before trying to shoot again. That is why at the end you hear me say I am done, after 1 shot, I couldn't get the bow back for a second shot. I was wore out. Again appreciate you watching and commenting. Juddie - J & J TOA

    Thanks Randy!! I wore myself out trying to get the sight set on the bow. By the time we had it set I was lucky to pull the bow back once. Then I would have to wait about 10 to 15 minutes to take another shot. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie - J & J TOA

    Glad you enjoyed it and we appreciate you Dan for watching and commenting. I really like this sight and since we didn't do a thorough review of the site when we did Jerod's Solution Reveal, I thought I would go ahead and do a video basically about the sight since I decided to get one for my BowTech Zion. Awesome Love your setup guys! Juddie my hat's off to you upping your draw weight. I sure miss shooting in the backyard. I strictly crossbow hunt now between broke-neck bad eyesight and lupus I just can't shoot good enough to be a ethical shot. So now I'm a 10-point man instead of a BowTech man. Really enjoyed the video you guys have a blessed week looking forward to seeing you in the woods👍👍👍🎯🤝🧙‍♂️

    Thanks Foggy! I use to shoot 70 pounds with my Assassin until about 4 years ago when I injured my shoulder. Then I had the Assassin taken down to 65 pounds, but of course for a year I went through physical therapy and during that period I was able to get a crossbow permit and I bought a Barnett recurve crossbow. I hunted with it that year, didn't get anything. The next year I was able to use my Assassin again and the crossbow has hung in my room since. So when I got the Zion, we had it set at 65 pounds, then I decided to after pulling Jerod's bow back on Friday to have it set to 70 pounds. When I can't pull a compound back any more then I will go back to the crossbow. Now bad eyesight, that is one reason I went to this sight instead of the one that came with the bow. We are as well!!! It has been hot, but since we all have new bows we need to get them set before season so we have to do it when we can. The past two Saturdays have been scorchers and we are in that open field. That is why it takes us 4 or 5 hours to shoot, we take breaks in between shoots. Thanks for watching and commenting and good luck to you this season. Juddie - J & J TOA

    Rob, it sure is a long shot, but like Jerod said, we won't take that shot when hunting. But, that is how you have to select the right sight strip. Shoot at 20 yards to where you are comfortable with your shots, then put the calibration tape on, and then dial it in to a number that you think would be the 60 yard range. Take the shot and hope to hit the target. Some reviews I have watched spoke of shooting at 20, then step back to 30 adjust the dial, step back to 40 adjust the dial and shoot, and so on and so on until you get to 60 yards. Then look at the corresponding number to see what sight strip you should use. Thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie - J & J TOA

    Thanks Joe. As for trusting Walmart crossbow, well I can't really say. I know the Barnett Recurve crossbow that I bought, I got it through Sportsman's Guide when I bought mine. I happen to be a member of Sportsman's Guide and I was able to get the 4 plan payment option when I bought mine. I know I have seen Walmart selling the Barnett brand crossbows. Are they the same, I am sure they probably are, but you know how Walmart is, most of the time they don't have anyone working sporting goods that knows anything about hunting and hunting accessories. At least that is how our Walmart is now here in Fayetteville. When Jerod worked there years ago, he and just a few others, were actually hunters and knew their stuff. Now Jerod doesn't work there anymore and most of the other guys who use to work there have left or retired and now they have people back there that know nothing about hunting. Brian, the sight I had before was what comes on the BowTech Zion when you buy the setup. It is a Octane (BowTech brand) 5 pin sight. It is a fine sight, but I am starting to have troubles focusing, especially when you have multiple pins close together. Over the years I have started having issues trying to focus just on one pin and after checking Jerod's Spot Hogg Fast Eddie, I just decided I wanted that style sight. Juddie - J & J TOA

    Does counter clockwise move the windage in or out

  • @JnJTrueOutdoorAdventures

    @JnJTrueOutdoorAdventures

    2 жыл бұрын

    Randy, if I remember right, if you're holding the bow in your left hand (if you're a right-hand shooter) out in front of you like you're going to shoot, and you turn the screw clockwise it moves the pin to your left, and if your screw it counterclockwise it will move the pin to the right. I know the site doesn't come with instructions on the pin windage adjustment. There was another video that I found out which direction was which. If you're getting your site setup, just make minor adjustments, if your arrow hits opposite of where you want it to hit, then go the other direction with the windage adjustment screw. I hope this helps. Juddie - J & J TOA
