No, many incorrect things said. The kickers wear different sized pads than regular offensive and defensive players so that’s one main difference. The second is they rarely wear cut off jerseys and then wear arm bands to cut the circulation and make their biceps puff. You don’t want a jacked up kicker anyways.
I love how far back they set the cushions, like he was gonna fly back 10 feet 😂

I was a 4 year starter defensive linemen in high school and I was 5'8 170 the trick is to stay lower then the other guy he went straight up and let the big man underneath him
@YOSSARIAN313
Жыл бұрын
Good technique wouldnt have made a difference. They are on different levels.
The size and strength of these guys is crazy, but throw in cat like quickness and it is just brutal.
Same thing happens vs my friend who was on the patriots I was 16 and he threw me so hard I damn near literally snapped in half. I thought I was such tough shit in high school until that point lmao, ngl I cried a bit when I hit the ground
I knew a guy who was in Ali's Autobiography and his sons won IBF and WBC titles. The old man was training for an old-time fight and was pitter-pattering the bag and out of nowhere a right hand came and it was inhuman in its power, just like a bomb going off and reverberating off the walls... That's why they're pros.
i was more surprised about that recording thing on his helmet
Why the hell does this appear at recommended videos 10 years later
I have a new kinda respect for these linemen now.
Joe came straight up instead of holding his low ground, and his hands came straight up instead of on the pads. The 200 lb difference doesn’t help either, but Kris could’ve thrown him much further

I honestly felt bad for the guy knowing he wasn't prepared for how this matchup should go. He practically stood up so that Kris easily drove under him and dropped his sorry ass. And shame on the crew for not having that crash pad closer. Dude could have broken a wrist trying to slow a fall from that angle.

The first question, “Could an average guy survive the line of scrimmage?” The answer is not a snowballs chance in Hell. If he’s thrown in at DT and gets double teamed by ANY teams Guard and Center, they would break his legs from the sheer weight.

Yo, that was fuckin awesome. A matchup like this would never happen in the NFL, so it's not surprising for me to say I've never seen an O-lineman hit anyone like that before, and he didn't even hit him as hard as he could have. I've replayed it for my self a few times & it doesn't look to me like he hit him with everything he had, instead he kinda picked him up with force & then put him down with force.

A 265 rugby player couldn't do shit to a 360 pound sumo wrestler or Defensive lineman. Why you ask ? Because Rugby players are Jack's of all trades and master of non and a Defensive lineman and sumo wrestler are masters of their craft.
