I think I had some of these too, but not as many as PWI and Inside Wrestling. And that's the hugest microphone I've ever seen on any youtube channel lol. Von Erichs and Steve Simpson, sweet. I remember Shaun and Steve Simpson. They were good in WCCW. Oh yeah and The Wrestler I used to read too. Flair's most satisfying had to be either beating Harley Race st Starrcade 83 or maybe beating Dusty Rhodes by that point in his career. Crockett it would probably be starting his promotion and getting Dusty as a booker. They had some of Dusty's old books at a recent WWE exhibit by the way that Cody gave on loan. Harley Race I'd see winning the NWA World Heavyweight Title, since he was already an 8 time champion at that point and was King of the Ring by the end of that year. Sullivan and Brody I don't know too well. but I know they were in some memorable feuds. Or Slater for that matter. Hansen maybe one of the titles he won. Or his classic match with Andre in Japan in 1983 that was 2 matches in one, since it was restarted. First it was a double countout, then a DQ win for Hansen. Ivan Koloff would probably either be the Koloffs feud with Road Warriors or beating Bruno for the WWWF World Heavyweight Title at a house show that was somehow not televised. Kerry would either be one of the classic matches with his brothers and the Freebirds or maybe winning the world title from Flair. And if you have any of the older Stanley Weston mags aka The Weston Mags instead of just the Apter Mags, I'd be down to check those out too. I think I heard on the Jake the Snake DVD that Wrestling 2 was the guy Jake was working with when he came up with the DDT finisher in the Crockett territory. Seen him on my Andre and Bret compilations. He's not too bad in the ring. Speaking of the Von Erichs, have you seen the Iron Claw movie yet? I'm planning on ordering the DVD this summer. And yep, started just before Wrestlemania 2. I believe his face turn was early 87 on The Snake Pit before turning heel again in 91 when turning on Ultimate Warrior with the king cobra. Oh nice, The Road Warriors won the Crockett Cup? I remember sometimes they would also put together 2 singles wrestlers for that tournament too, like when Sting and Luger won it. Or Rhodes and Nikita the year before in 1987 as The Super Powers. Looks like they only did it from 86-88 until a new NWA promotion came along and brought it back in 2019, which I don't watch. If you want something current that's the closest to old school wrestling, I'd say check out AEW (All Elite Wrestling) or ROH (Ring of Honor). WWE is starting to improve without Vince McMahon, but not enough yet for old school fans. Looks like Crockett Cup happened over 1 night.

Thanks as always. I don’t believe I have any Weston Mags. And as for Iron Claw, I have not seen it yet, but I do intend to.
