Currently doing my DAS. Needed a pair of gloves and jacket. SBS staff at Preston spot on. Very knowledgeable, approachable and more importantly nice people. They helped me out by explaining the world of bikes and things to look out for. I bought the Oxford mondial 2.0 jacket however, needed a size up. Staff ordered the jacket and it was there the next day. Very pleased with this shop and I believe this is going to be my new favourite shop once I get my licence. Free coffee also !

I love their try before you buy service, order what you want in several sizes, wait for the email/text to say they are available in store and then take a trip to the shop and see whether you fancy it or not

Hi yes, I’ve done that order a few pairs of jeans etc to try on, delivered to store, try on and only pay for the ones you buy.

Great shop to deal with most of my riding gear has came from them via online business, living in the North East we don’t have one locally. On a lighter note not one customer looked younger than 50 perhaps were a dying breed 😊

That’s it with bikers we are mostly older as the gov doesn’t make tests, costs and insurance easy for younger rider

So it used to be Evans cycles. Just 40 minutes from me so a trip is a requirement.

We went to today, just saw you riding off! It’s a brilliant store and was definitely needed in Preston. Staff were really friendly and free coffee is a winner!

Lovely Brutalist interior - as I imagine shopping in Russia. Guess we do retail differently in Murca....

Brilliant supplier but I wish they’d open up here in the north east…

Went yesterday. Staff were superb. Tried a jacket but smaller size not in stock. Wanted to try both sizes before purchase. The smaller size (Not in stock at preston branch) being sent from Boston overnight! Brilliant try and buy service. They’ve also sent experienced staff from Leeds branch so that their customer service at the new store was at the usual exceptional standard. One lady had even come up from Milton Keynes. Sportsbikeshop in my opinion are the best motorcycles clothing retailer in the uk.

I wish they’d open in Sheffield…..the forgotten city 👍😂

I’ve used the one in Leeds ever since it opened in addition to using their free delivery service. I can’t fault the staff or service I’ve received. There is a J&S next door to it, I’m not sure what J&S stands for, someone once told me it’s an abbreviation of Junk & Shit but I have a feeling they were pulling my leg. 😂

My closet is Bristol. I have always wanted to go there but never get around to it. so it was good having a tour there. Free coffee pulls us in as well!

Thanks for the look around and reminder it's opened. Work in Preston and live nearby so will take a ride down soon. Free hot drinks sounds good for a retailer not dealer.

Went in on Monday, great staff, very friendly. Have a ride over to Race Leathers at Darwin, another great shop and some good rides in the area.

I’ve been to the Boston store a few times, but only on Saturdays, and I’ve found it way too busy every time. The wait for the Argos style system was way too long.

£1250 for a jacket! Lucky I make my motorcycle clothing last. My winter coat is over 20 years old and I'll be wearing it again in the coming weeks.

I know! When I was looking for my Alpinestars Gortex jacket, I looked at Klim and the prices were mad!

Wish we had one in Scotland that was in a pleasant place! As you say next delivery and free returns are superb!! It would be nice to try everything on when you have a day off or returning from work etc in a proper shop rather than ordering ££££'s worth of gear only to find out they don't fit to return the majority again. As with everything, we all tend to find ' that brand' that fits 'that body part' and keep buying more. I love my inbuilt braces👌

Yes happy we have one hear and as I e found in past you have to try on really as all different brands sizes differ. Braces work well so glad I bought some 👍

Absolutely agree although nearer Newcastle would suit me just fine!

Didn’t like how the shop is set out with its items. My J & S store in Delamere is much more welcoming in how it looks .

yes, I was a bit underwhelmed when I first saw the video as I was expecting something on the size of J&S in Oakmere with a nice cafe, but as you say, it's all in the back warehouse and order on the terminal if not on display, it will come in very handy, can bikes not park in the car park bays as no bikes seem to have done, or were all the bays full ?

I guess, they will fill it up more as time goes by. The girl mentioned huge stocks and if not there would get shipped from warehouse next day. Was glad I bought my braces 😁 some bikes parked later in the bays.
