Work is a legit reason to not go though. That's like a stand up thing to do because a lot of people don't value work now a days and would've been like " peace out!' You did the right thing man. It's painful but the right thing to do. There is always the next release bro and that will work out for sure. Great video as always!

I went into my local Australian dealer hoping to buy a new sport chief or chief dark horse, I was told a minimum of 9 month wait for a chief and unknown wait for the sport! Ended up with a new scout rogue

The Sport Chiefs aren't out in full force yet here in the US either. Only some dealers are getting just one it seems.

Bummer on getting denied the PTO. You earned the time and should be able to use it assuming you asked for it off with an appropriate notice vs after the blackout. Hope you'll be able to test it out at some point! I am tempted to trade in the scout but i'm too sentimental.

Apparently I requested after they sent out the notification. Was 2 months in advance but really didn't think it had anything to do with our branch. Which it didn't. I hope so too! I don't think I could part with my Scout. But I do want the Sport Chief. Maybe when I'm done paying off the Scout

I know this feeling... What happened to me back in Oct for the FA campout. They kept saying for months we got something going on at work during the month of Oct but wouldn't say the actual dates. 3 or 4 months out I finally put in the request and the next day i was off only to come back the following day and half made plans and to find it being denied. I was ill but what can we do..... I mean it's not like this youtube thing is paying our bills.....

I typically do. And that's the reason I wanted to work there. We get 2 weeks after 2 years and 3 weeks after 5 years. Better than anywhere else I've been and we also get most major holidays off. But this black out thing was a rare situation
