Spoof 1942 Public Information Film ~ from Privates progress

Комедия

This is a spoof WWII public information film taken from the 1956 movie "Privates progress" to which this acts as an introduction.
It is based on the short British government public information films that were shown in cinemas during the war along with the newsreels just before the main feature film began.
Often these films contained advice on what to do during an air raid, or how to grow your own veg to help in the war effort etc.
After the war, later incarnations of these films became the familiar public safety advice films, which are still occasionally shown on TV today, especially road safety advice for children, and the "call the coastguard if you see a boat in trouble" cartoon, normally shown during the summer holiday season.

@@markh5682 I reckon the bit about 'you can't have half a man' sounds like Richard Attenborough, who appeared in the film

@@paultaylor7082 Richard Attenborough was in the film along with Ian Carmichael, Dennis Price, Terry-Thomas, Sally Miles and the usual mix of British comedy actors of the time.
