    What about the people who suffer from real debilitating pain and never took the pills to get high but to get rid of the physical pain and don’t abuse the drugs the news really doesn’t talk about that this isn’t a one size fits all not everyone is gonna die from pain medication not everyone can just take OTC medication for their pain all the cdc did in 2016 was cause people to commit suicide or convert to other drugs that’s causing more harm than good I agree these medications called opioids/opiates aren’t for everybody they are for people who have surgery or have cancer or serious illnesses and these drugs aren’t supposed to be used for mental health issues

    I am a chronic pain patient, and my pain is not under control, it's hard to get the dosages I need because of the ppl who abuse the drugs. I lost an uncle to heroin od. I would give him clothes, food, a place to sleep but I wouldn't give him money because I knew it would go to the drugs. I understand how addiction can destroy a family. But it is the addict's choice to abuse the drugs, the chronic pain patients do not abuse the drugs and the addict's are making it hard for our legitimate pain to be properly treated

    If you have pain and turn to a doctor or shrink. You can have a addiction for life just after a few pills. Loose everything you have addicted and be on the street and homeless. Leading a life of crime literally doing anything all to get high over and over. Pain rarely will kill you but lifelong addiction will usually kill someone.

    The people that get addicted to that euphorical feeling....

  • @cruisepaige

    @cruisepaige

    Жыл бұрын

    After a short time it’s not about that. Opiates turn off the pain preceptors in the brain and your body stops making its own version of that “blocker.” You stop taking them and you are always in pain all over your body.

  • @markcindy1987

    @markcindy1987

    8 ай бұрын

    It's more than that. Say you get injured and are put on the opioids for more than 3 days, dependency and full blown addition can set in very quickly. Your brain loves the dopamine rush, it becomes addicted to it and even when the pain is gone, it will mimic the pain to get the drugs. It is the only disease that tells you that you do not have a disease so it can get the drugs, hereby saying, you are not addicted it just takes the pain away.

  • @Lisa-vj6pz
    @Lisa-vj6pz Жыл бұрын

    The reason why so many people get addicted to it and so many people don't is the people that become addicted are the ones that have experienced trauma at birth and that means they have been injected synthetic hormones at birth to speed up the mother's labor so the doctor can catch his plane on time.... So when they inject the synthetic hormone into the mother's IV bag it gets to the baby and then the mother's body stops producing the natural hormone and then that baby spends the rest of his life trying to feel that euphoric feeling and then you introduce an opioid and that's it that's that feeling of love that was taken away at birth.... Because what goes on at birth between a mother and a child is what they call"the love cocktail"..... So when they inject the synthetic hormones into the mother's IV bag it interrupts what the baby's receiving and now the baby is receiving a synthetic hormone....... So that's why some people you know they welcome that euphoric feeling because it was taking away from them at birth and they don't realize it the mothers don't realize it... big pharma... Knows all about it and that's why they produce these sort of medications because they know that people will become addicted they know that they'll start putting up methadone clinics and everybody's going to be working and doctors and nurses who went to school and paid their education to serve the evil pharma will be working all at the expense of an innocent life..... For example during the pandemic my daughter had a baby in the hospital I told her not to have a baby in the hospital they will separate you from your family and nobody will be able to advocate for you.... While we waited in the parking lot because we were not allowed in the hospital.... They administered fentanyl into her IV bag.... And then 20 minutes later they said oh the baby's heartbeat is dangerously low we are going to have to do a C-section... $$$$$$$$which is more money for the hospital and the doctor and the anestheologist...... My daughter was totally healthy gained minimal weight was very healthy all through her pregnancy.....

    Well ultimately it comes from the doctors..... Volume and codeine and percocet and all those things have been affecting families for years years..... My dad died from it so I'm just saying it's been going on for a long time my dad was 58 when he died but he was extremely addicted to code Cain and volume and his doctor kept prescribing it kept prescribing it I couldn't understand why and the thing is it makes you feel worse after and when my mom was in the hospital they were giving her morphine and I said no and they kept giving my mother morphine and it only lasts 20 minutes you know what I mean and I'm thinking why would you give somebody this drug when it only lasts 20 minutes and it's highly addictive well I'll tell you why because once your mother gets out of the hospital now she's going to have to go to a rehab center and now they're going to make even more money.... So you got three shifts of nurses.... And I tell the nurse put it in the notes that they're not to give my mother this morphine.... And then I show up in the evening shift and I see my mom's a little loopy.... And they gave her morphine and then the nurse says oh I'm so sorry I didn't see the notes....

    Real sufferers of botched spinal surgeries, such as myself, should not be penalized for the imprudence of addicts. I was forced to change countries so that i could get the relief I need, and now live a pretty normal life. One grows accustomed to the correct prescribed amount. If one does not have an addictive personality, it is only medicine. Severe surgery induced neuropathic pain is no joke, trust me. It is astounding that with today's advancements, honest practitioners cannot tell the difference between addiction and need. As usual, politics interferes with science.

    Searching thru you're kid's room says right there the relationship has been damaged. If you have do a jail style shake down, digging through your kid's dresser drawers, reading their diary etc., you have already failed as a parent. Your kid will automatically hide things from you, because you have betrayed their trust by violating their privacy. Only a good parent will make their child feel safe to tell them anything, maintaining a solid bond of trust. If kid's feel safe telling you anything~ you stay in their circle, if you betray their trust~ you are now the outsider (not to be trusted).

    While I get the jist of your comment, the nature of drugs is secretive, for the addicted youth, they hide this secret so that they can satisfy their drug addiction, or alcohol addiction. If I told you how many conversations we had about drugs and the dangers prior to his beginning this horrible path...we had examples in our family and friends. Most kids that start using drugs without an injury usually have either a diagnosed or un-diagnosed co-existing brain disorder such as anxiety, depression, etc. They feel a DIS-EASE in their bodies and want to feel better, hence the beginning of self-medicating. No kid is ever gonna tell you the truth when they are trying to hide something. There is a reason they are hiding it, usually it is out of pure shame. Believe me or not, we tried everything but there is no manual for this. Only judgment from people who don't know this life. So, please don't say those things above if you want to help a family. They are living in hell on earth and need all the support they can get.
