The emotion Kate put into Moiraine's speech is perfectly fitting. It reflects the emotion all of us felt the first, the tenth, or hundredth time we read this passage. Hearing the speech said out loud makes me feel as if I am there standing side by side with the Emond's Fielders. The chills on my skin and tears that well up in my eyes make the moment feel real. Thank you for sharing this gift with us.

This puts the tv show to fucking shame. It's one of the scenes of the series that will always stick with me. Crying my eyes out for Manetheren, in one of the first chapters of the first books. And Kate Reading did it so, so much justice. In this reading and in the audiobooks.

@@mayurr9924 Just saw it..... Kate > Rosamund... The showrunners are not interested in the parts of the story I am.... I hope you enjoy

@@tct8284 I agree with you on that. I think had they allocated the time to that speech that they should have she could have given a roughly equal performance. Maybe better if they got the atmosphere right in the show but instead they fucked up by shortening it and adding it in as if it's an interesting tidbit.

@@artoriosvii6801 It was little annoying that the Two Rivers forgot about Manetheren, but they remembered a song about it. Would have better it was song about King Aemond, but they didn't know what he was King or maybe even if he was King. Its these little details of world building that the show just yawns at imo

They didn't really give Rosamund enough to work with but what they did she exsecuted in a beautiful manner
