this MIGHT be too much... I wanna see a tank or RPG round split in half by an ax, or maybe a saw blade (for size upgrade)

@@SMS2884 I mean to be fair, Gavin/Dan have been at this a LOT longer than BHS. Also, guns are one of those things that are really cool to see in high speed, not a lot of common items that have things traveling that fast.
Watching the leading edge of the axe blade jiggle around like jello after the round impacts it is something else. Also, Adam's level of excitement is contagious and I'm here for it. Outstanding job gents, keep it up.

hi
06:59 That shockwave from the .308 was also incredible.
The feeling of filming for hours and editing for hours to have the most top tier, concentrated
4:46 I love how slightly missing the edge of the blade makes the axe literally shake it's head as if to indicate, "nope, not this time." 🤣

🤣😂
That ax wobble is crazy
The reason it was so much more destructive when both went off at the same time is because the two shockwaves from the explosion were working against each other. This principle is basically what we called a counterforce charge when I was an engineer in the Marine Corps.
Didn't even read just saw the thumbnail and knew exactly what's going on. Y'all are ridiculous... I LOVE IT!
Adams excitement is infectious haha. That was really cool.
1. That axe can be resharpened. 2. A soft point round nose or flat point bullet in the smaller calibers might be easier to get a good split.

You guys are a cross between Paul Harrell and the Slo-mo guys. That was amazing seeing the shockwaves traveling through the axe head. Your stuff just keeps getting better and better!
cool to see the axe blade wobble like that, such a solid mass from such a tiny object
7:11 that is so beautiful, the eddy current along the axe is insane to see in slow motion
@Ajax_Kennedy
Ай бұрын
My monkey brain saw "eddy current" and completely forgot there was more than one kind of eddy current for a second. I must've backed up the video a dozen times in (extra) slow-mo looking for evidence of an electric current over the axe blade before seeing the eddy current in the fireball. 🤦♂️😂

Its wild watching the steel in the ax flex that much .
I love how @ 6:59 you can see the shock wave from the muzzle blast slide across the screen before you even see the bullet come into view.. high speed is so awesome
Can I axe you a question? Why are these videos always so awesome?
Guys, you are the shot of adrenaline that high speed video needed. With the relative accessibility of high speed cameras in the last several years, it started to feel like everything had been tried. Your creativity and filming skills are absolutely top notch. Keep it up!
I have to say, the sound design is the perfect combination of Hollywood over-the-top, and believably realistic. It is brilliant, it sounds awesome, i love it!
My 2 cents: it's cool to note that due to the spin of the bullet, when it hits axe, the right fragments continue down and the left fragments continue up. You can also see it on the paper on the back

That was nuts! Great footage as usual and congrats on the accomplishment.
That was so refreshing. Excellent work with the cameras and mounting system for accuracy.
The footage you guys put out always amazes me. Cheers, guys, keep up the great work 👍🏻

3:25 The wobble in the axe head was not expected! Wow!! You would never see anything like this if it wasn’t for this channel. Damn I love this stuff! Thanks guys!!
Is really interesting seeing the energy wave across the axe after impact.
The question could be answered: when a bullet goes through these types of targets, could it set off another one behind? It's a fantastic video, and it is great to find a gem like that on KZread!!
Number one high speed gun channel. Love it
I think the craziest part was seeing the axe itself wobbling with every hit, like holy cow!
It's amazing the world that high speed photography opens up. This is fascinating!
@10:19 I like the woman calmly hanging laundry in the background while the boys play in the yard.
This channel…the quality..the effort..the time..deserves millions of subs and even more views. Incredible.

Phenomenal video as always look forward to your uploads
That was friggin cool. Well done, lads.
You guys do a great job. I like it because you don't do all the fluff stuff at some of the other channels do when you get right to the high-speed footage. Good job I enjoy your videos. The only negative is that you don't do a whole lot of them, but that keeps some fresh.
Thanks Guys for that impressive footage
Great job guys! I was really thrilled while watching if it works or not. Thank you so much for your content 💙
Cool test guys, thanks for sharing the fun high speed footage
Awesome guys, I really enjoy your content! Thanks! God Speed.
Love the production quality😊
I’ve been with you guys since you started this channel, this kind of video is why I love your channel! Keep it up guys!
The ballistic testing weapon rest/bench is super cool, Im excited to see some very cool, accurate shots with it... maybe seeing how close you can graze a dummy head without damaging the skull? Or testing the obliqueness of 9mm skull ricochet compared to other calibers.
Another amazing adventure with the fellas from BHS ! Addictive as any thing could be. Truely stunningly filmed. 🏴👀💨🏴
Its nice to see them all happy after what happened, love you guys
The steel of the ax head wiggling like jello is insanely cool
I don't know who asks these types of questions, but I'm glad they do for my entertainment. Thanks guys!
You guys ROCK! Thank you for such good vids!

Amazing to see the blade vibrate.
Thank you for a beautiful and fun video. I look forward to seeing more videos with that cordless hole puncher sled.

“Well, I thought you’d never axe.” “That was awful.” “Yeah, that was bad.” “We’re cutting that.” That’s a certified knee-slapper.
Thank You Adam and Bryce.

11:40. I love how the flames spiral after hitting the axe
Wow, the flex on the axe blade is mental, great vid chur ❤
Nice! Y’all seriously have some of the best content. Can’t wait to see the slugs. Oh and that post y’all put out yesterday asking us to guess the caliber was an awesome tie in! Keep doing those it’s a great engagement tool. I went with 308/7.62, I guessed it was 175g SMK but now I’m thinking 147g milsurp based on the lead exposed tail. Glad to see y’all enjoying it as much as we are 🤠👌🏼
Great video again guys. Bring on the slugs, can't wait

The video is lit AF, this channel produces the best so-mo ballistics videos on the net, but more than anything i am happy that Adam has made a completely recovery from his accident and his smile is fully back on. Absolute mad-lad. As for the next split video idea .50 BMG tracer rounds, please.
