Split Card Design Technique

Measurements:
Cut 1 Basic White at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" - score at 4 1/4"
Cut 1 colored cardstock at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" - score at 4 1/4"
Cut 2 Basic White at 5 1/4" x 4" and one at 5" x 3 3/4"
Cut 2 of colored cardstock (same color as card base) at 5 1/4" x 4"
Sentiment Label: 3 3/4" x 1/2"

Thanks. I agree it's a very cool design.
nice cards! I have found that if you want to emboss words..but they get " muddy ", try stampin off your versa mark first ....words are clearer.

Thanks for that tip. But you're right, if the words are muddy, it might be that there's too much versamark on it. Much appreciated.
Lovely card. I’m getting this set and will try to “case” your card. Was wondering how it would be in daffodil delight (thought it might be too light) but it’s GORGEOUS so I may try that color first!

I wasn't sure either if the Daffodil Delight would be too light, but as you can see it's not. I would say definitely give it a go with that color. Thank you for your comment.

That was my cat behind the blind! I drew the blind because the light coming from the window was too bright, but my cat decided to jump up to look out the window!
