Yeah they say that as if Sam wasn't gonna fucking kill em if they DIDN'T cooperate. Just tell the truth, it pays off and you won't even have to worry about being Jimmy the Squealer because either your boss will be far too dead to punish you or they won't even know he was EVER there so no need to say shit.

Bad guy: Tells him a whole bunch of information. Sam: Not good enough.

It's more symbolic to shoot Reed three times, making the 3 dots in the loading screen.

If you hit him, the three dots are still formed, just on his cheeks/forehead instead of spread out across his body/head.

If these interrogations were in any way realistic, they would probably go more like this: Sam: "Who are you working for?" Person: "I can't tell you, they'll kill me." Sam: *Bashes person's head through toilet so hard that it shatters* Person: "Aghrrghghghgrbrbrbrbrbr" *Bleeds from the ears, nose, and eyes and passes out* Sam: "Dammit. I think I hit him too hard. Perhaps I should just go back to grabbing them and holding a knife to their throat like I've always done."

TheRubbaRazza the flag missing sam symbolizes his country attacking and betraying him, the broken flag symbolizes his broken trust as well as his loss of faith and purpose, and stabbing Kobin with the shard of the pole signifies revenge. The shard in his shoulder was basically the knife in Sam's back.

I love how much faster Sam kills the agents at the end so much faster than Grim does, shows how experienced Sam is

This game had the best characterization for Sam. Michael Ironside was thinking about leaving the role before he read the script for Conviction. It's a shame Ubisoft went backwards with Blacklist. They could've had old AF Sam Fisher in some sort of advisory/mentor role and given us a new protagonist.

@@anas-432 but for me I hate blacklist because the game play was way more annoying and even on regular the difficulty jumps up badly not to mention some missions are torture to do on your own and even if you play with friends it's not fun and requires serious team work they added some good mechanics but overall was a painful play through

PhoofNScoops I agree. Blacklist was good, but so much was missing without Ironside. My feeling was Fisher should have been made into a mission command type character, or he should have been written out all together as retired. I mean its what he said at the end of Conviction anyway, that he was out!

PhoofNScoops Plus I believe that Conviction would have been the perfect ending send off for Fisher. He gets revenge for the deaths of Lambert, and gets reunited with his daughter. In Blacklist you could have started with a new, younger character.

Man, I thought Kobin getting a piece of a flagpole rammed into his shoulder was brutal enough already...and then Sam stabbed a knife right through that soldier's hand and into a tree stump at that reservoir 😮

She's had the personality of a double edged sword in Conviction. She may have worked with Reed, but personally never liked him, as she figured out that Reed was the mole Lambert was searching all along. So she intimidated Kobin into not telling Reed or it might blow her cover when it comes to her secret cahoots with Sam, probably because the dude was as afraid of her as he is of Sam. Kobin here is basically Splinter Cell's Turk Barrett.

Even though I played the game like a generic shooter, God damnit it was a blast.

I love Blacklist, but I was always disappointed that they didn’t expand on the whole Meggido concept. Sam taking on a sort of Illuminati style organization would’ve been really fun I feel.

This may be a cliche splinter cell but this one has the most beuatiful aesthetics. Design and in game combat visual deisgns. The settings and all,I think it beats Blacklist. *For visual wise* Hope they did a new one with this setting,design and style. With some extra attention to aggresive playstyle and better writing it would've been a win.

Be careful man! A porcelain shard can kill someone. That being said, this is my 2nd favorite game after Chaos Theory.

On one hand, having scripted and cinematic interrogations was great. On the other hand, having ONLY scripted and cinematic interrogations wasn't too great either.

For anyone interested in knowing, just do a quick Google search of “Does Sam Fisher Kill Reed” and you’ll find that the very first answer you get states that Sam shoots Reed once in each shoulder and then spares him to which Reed starts bragging, prompted by this Grim executes Reed by shooting him in the head.

This reminds me so much on 24!
