I like how before you fight the 1st boss of the game, those 2 flesh things willingly get eaten, while the 3rd one’s like “yeah, there’s no way I’m going in there”. But when Jason shows up, he’s like “nevermind I’m better eaten than dead”.

this game genuinely has some of the most disturbing bosses I've ever seen, this stuff rivals some of the silent hill games

I wasn’t a fan of all the changes they made to the characters in the remake. They turned Rick into a beta geek, his mask form was basically a John Cena-like bro dude, and the masks dialogue attempting to be edgy and humorous didn’t fit in with the serious spirit of the old games. They tried too hard to modernize the game instead of trying to capture the familiarity and spirit of the first three.

I always avoided these games thinking they would be dumb, this is my first time seeing one (Blame 90s "gross is cool" toys and cartoons) This is really cool actually

Splatter house 2 seemed a little longer than the ladder. Well done sir. I recently happened upon your channel. I never got a chance to experience the arcade scene. Basically an evil possessed mask teams up with a guy (Eric, the protagonist) trying to protect his girlfriend (Jennifer) from otherworldly forces. Eric fails, the girl dies, and he revenges her Doom Eternal style before the mask breaks and the house is destroyed. Now in this game, the sequel, the mask reappears to help Eric save Jennifer, causing him to go John Wick inside the reappeared house to basically force the denizens of Hell to return back the life they stole. TL;DR Berserk at Home.

Up til the Final boss, u made the whole thing look soooooo easy! That game still has an errie feel to it.

I swear the only time Jennifer sees Rick is when he's wearing that mask

Every Splatterhouse game gets terrifying and even more terrifying each game.

The best endings belong to that era of video games almost every time it was about to getting your girl back!

This game use to scare the holy hell out of me. My brothers use to play this in our room and is cover my head with the sheets and shove my fingers in my ears. I had terrible nightmares when they played this. Still pretty damn creepy all these years later 😂

I am guessing he was only using Rick to get that Dark Entity at the end as a Host so he can once again rule the world? You know what's awesome though, It leaves the storyline open for a prequel in some ways. Like how did the Mask lose its power or get sealed in the first place. Must have been hundreds of maybe thousands of years ago when it got sealed.
