Doing a drive by with the Grizzco Duallies roll was just the best. It was just basically a free lower enemy clear.

I like how they went with the grizzco blaster route instead of the stamper/stringer/slosher route. Being able to spam rolls but then still having paint is crazy

now that you mention it, i'd like to see alt versions of the different grizzco weapons, like Grizzco Slosher Mk 1 or something be the original, then Mk 2 and 3 (or however many more) could be toying with different stats

"I'm spin dashing!!" was my exact reaction too! You can roll into tons of cohocks to wipe them before they can even attack. It's so satisfying!

I main duallies, so I was so happy this Big Run. Not the best player, but I was very happy to have a high score of 81. Map was a bit harder to get used to, but still super fun.

Grizzco Dualies' dodge roll blast is insanely powerful (but also got me rolled right off into the water many times XD). It's really good for clearing out the crowd almost instantly, as well as for just going around the map quickly. But during my play, a lot of people still treated it like a regular Dualies and barely used the dodge roll, not even when they got swarmed! We could have gotten so much more egg count had more people bothered to use the dodge roll.

Yeah, unfortunately it isn't obvious to those that don't know that the main damage source is the roll rather than the actual shots

Nothing will ever be as claustrophobic as understood spillway big run

I'm not usually comfortable with dualies, but man these are FUN

Fun fact : you can do the flyfish (with the dually) simply Rolling against his buckets (tricky thing to do, but doable at the right height)

I can’t express how much this salmon big run event was fun in um’ami map, I’m missing it 💔.

This big run was really good imo, except for the time where i got a high score of 155 where top 5% was 156

Grizzco dualie is great addition, but you could easily fall off in the water and if you are careless, you easily ran out of ink and ended up been surrounded by lesser salmonids.

Your idea about a challenge with all grizzco weapons was such a great idea I really hope that happens

I was thinking about a Grizzco challenge the whole Big Run! That would be awesome!

I love those Dualies too! I love to splat Maws, Flipper-Flopper, Stinger, big shot and Drizzler with three rolls and still have enough rolls to clear out the other Salmonids and get to safety. It’s so fun to splat Steelhead and Fish stick with just one roll (at the same time) 🤩

Grizzco Dualies is basically Dapple Dualies but explosive... Quite literally.

Back to this video, seven months later. "Do you think we'll get Grizzco Dualies in Side Order?" Turns out, yes!

Man I love how you said you want a grisco challenge after seeing the dualies cos thats exactly what me and my Mrs said once we got them too!

With dualies and brella both being the signature weapons of splatoon 2, it's both funny and sad comparing their grizzco variant. Grizzco dualies take the thing that makes dualies unique and dial it up to 11, and it might just be the most fun grizzco weapon because of that. Meanwhile the grizzco brella takes away the thing that makes brellas unique, and all you're left with is a mid shooter with extra steps.

I never got the grizzco dualies during the big run and once EVERY PERSON BUT ME GOT THEM while I was stuck with nautilus.

Don’t forget that the turret mode is ridiculously powerful. Good range and insane DPS.

The Grizzco dualies has got to be my most favorite Grizzco weapon ever since the Grizztana. From my experience of using this absolute BEAST of a weapon (also just so happens to have it three times in a row within a single shift, coincidence, or not😅), I noticed that it has the range of dapples when firing normally, but has the range of vanilla splat dualies when in turret mode, it has 9 initial dodges + 4 more before running out of ink, making it a whopping *_THIRTEEN ROLLS_* total, it also dodge rolls at a far distance, like that of glooga dualies, and its dodge bursts leaves a burst bomb-sized explosion for each roll. It’s also the first, and currently the only dualie weapon, that damages things with the ink bursts from its dodge rolls!

Just a quick tid bit, I thought the range was short too, It technically is, but with the dodge roll, it increases

I found out that one can kill flyfish with these.

Grizzco duelies are like crack. Theyve been gone only a short time and i miss them so so much

I missed the gold by 4 eggs. 😭 I mean, it's amazing that I got that close.

I like dualies but the problem i noticed with the grizzco dualies were their short range. when we got the one with the forces landing from air and the giant thing sucking our salmon eggs. i couldnt hit the bloody thing. granted that was probably for a different team mate to do.

so this weapon- its range and firerate kinda sucks when not in turret mode, but one press of the b button later and firerate and range both get buffed like that also you can run over enemies like there's no tomorrow

I lost count of how many Steel Eels I rolled into this big run.

Yess!! They were AMAZING!! At first, I saw a post saying they wanted to steal them, and I thought ppff, it cant be THAT good! And trying it out and being like meh, this actually isn't that good. But that's cuz I didn't know that using the b button was MAGICAL! After I saw someone else use it and hit the b button over and over again, and then I tried it, I LOVED IT!!!!! I hope theres a challenge someday where we all get grizzco weapons, cuz those duelies were AMAZING!!!

I hope y'all had better RNG with Big Run than I did. I got a first round with THREE Undercover Brellas and a E-Liter. Can't remember if it was a special round or not, but needless to say we wiped pretty early.

I’ve thought of this before but what if there was a grizzco special event that let you bring your weapon of choice with its actual in-game kit into salmon run. It would give and opportunity to see how different specials that aren’t in salmon run would function, along with different subs. But the subs would be a bit weird because you need splat bombs for fly fish and maws. Maybe they would let you toggle between a splat bomb and a utility sub. Also it would be fun to find out what comps work best for salmon run.

Do you think a suction bomb’s explosion time is long enough for a player to preemptively throw one to revive themself? If so, that would be really cool. Also so many people would bring in weapons with burst bomb for flyfish. Sprinkler would be surprisingly good during glowflies. The only sub weapon that would be bad in salmon run is angle shooter.

interesting how the roll explosions might be a bomb type so it might have an unusable utility...

I don’t think grizz would let us have a challenge mode with only grizzco weapons, but that would be cool if someday Nintendo lets us try that challenge mode.😊😊

maybe they could tie it into in world events by making it such that deep cut could send a letter to grizz, requesting for the weapons for a challenge, and to make up for it, grizz gets inklings and octolings to work for him with a golden rotation they wouldnt be happening at the same time so players can experience both without having to rush, and they could also explain this as "grizz lent out all his illegally modified weapons to the public, and now he must wait before they get returned"

Hey Dude try Reeflux new buff it's A-tier now! My average is 5 - 10 splats per match and it's the best offensive crossbow.

As fun as gdualies are, I don’t think it tops gcharger. Both can delete hordes of salmon on a dime, but gcharger has a lot of range to stay out of harm’s way. Don’t get me wrong tho there’s nothing like plowing through a bunch of salmon with the gdualies

id argue g dualies movement is more crucial than g charger, since any incompetent team would get swarmed anyways, leaving the charger vulnerable as it gets missiled over and over, while g dualies can probably run to somewher safe to hide

The big run map was actually so good to me and I got my gosh heat score on it my score was still bronze but whatever

I had the opposite feeling. I felt this was the worst of the Grizzo weapons because of its insanely short range. It felt more like a pure melee weapon, even more than the wipers and brushes. Plus I admit I am not a Dualies player, so I greatly missed my ability to jump and shoot and often dodge rolled into death due to lack of control. But that part is on me, so I am not blaming the weapon for my bad rolls. Just the crazy short range.

in turret mode it has regular Splat Dualies range so it’s not always locked to hard melee

You can take out chum and cohocks easily with rolls, even if you never use the roll shooting. You can also paint an entire flipper flopper circle with just two rolls. The grizzco dualies turn inklings into fizzy bombs, in the best way. On golden rotations these will be great for crowd clearing alongside the grizzco blaster.

I hate grizzco weapons because of their terrible range.

Imo grizzco dualies kinda sucked. I did far better in the big run with weapons like the 52 or the splat roller.

even as a 5* splatana main myself, i have to say that grizzco dualies are better than grizzco splatana 1) more range (splatana is a melee, and has to slap chinooks during mothership waves, while dualies can shoot from further and can easily reach other chinooks faster with rolls) 2) splatana takes forever to charge up 3) dualies has more mobility while splatana is stuck there spamming as hard as it can if it wants to survive a horde of lessers

​@@rubellite4480 you cannot compare a spaltana with the grizzco splatana but its only a waste if people dont get why dualies are one frome the worst weapons in grizzco version yes you can clear lessers good but thats all the feature to damage a flyfisch is way to situational to mention and you say it has range its almost funny to say if dapple dulaies have more range the the grizzco dualie that almost the same range as the splatana yes you can be fast to go somewere but at the cost of 50% or more of your ink i wonder if you even fight agains every boss with this if you do then you know that the biggest downsite of them are range and dmg

@@catboy_girl2379 my sincerest apologies, reading your comment confused the heck out of me I still stand by grizzco dualies having more movement/mobility than a grizzco splatana. Like the splatana, it is very ink hungry, and a good player would be able to play around that by not putting themselves in situations that it's hard to get out of and would make you lose all your ink. Of course, the same can be said for the splatana, but it can't clear hordes as fast, can't paint as well, and the main redeeming factor is the dash and armour pierce, which the dualies can easily have other weapons help to do. It's not a one man job. Also, when dodge rolling, the grizzco dualies get a range buff, from dapple range to splat dualies range (around there), while splatana is basically all melee and I don't even remember if it can clear fish sticks. Lastly, the main source of damage should come from the dodge rolls since they do big chunks of splash damage, and seeing how quickly it can clear lessers, I'm sure that speaks for itself.
