I struggled the most on the 1st and 3rd sections. The 2nd and 4th sections I was able to beat in just 2 tries each. For the 4th section, I used Lil’Buddy to distract the AI whenever I was about to die. While they were distracted, I would hide in my ink and regenerate my health. It was somewhat straightforward once I figured that out. Maybe a strat to try yourself if you’re still struggling with this particular section?

They should've put a checkpoint after every wave of the Octoling fight, because that segment in and of itself is a boss fight.

This level's the _real_ final boss, the balloon part alone is worse than the entire boss level.

@@ArtemisWasHere ok ok, I have some tips for you (if you have not beat it yet) instead of trying to take on the octolings all at once, try to be sneaky and hid in the ink and ambush them when they are alone. This prevents them from placing down their specials, making this last level trivial.

I have an illness called "severe skill issue" so it will take me 333 attempts to complete that level

Finally, I did it... I bloody did it. After 4 hours of enduring hell. My feet and hands are sore as heck and I'm exhausted. The 1st and last section were indeed the worst parts for me. Last section in particular was hell but I managed to get through it... You made it look so easy and I salute you for managing to do this deathless cause my god...

Honestly the octoling section is way worst than the balloon Nintendo, “gee I love having 6V1 battles and they all gang up on you and it had three horrible phases, it’s like trying to win against 4 human player matches when you’re the only one left!” Honesty it’s just sheer luck most of the time if you win where the balloons you’ll eventually get the pattern down (And to rub salt in the wound it costs lots of eggs to start again) champions road is much more tolerable and after alterna has checkpoints where champions road does not, but I would still rather do champions road)

Watching you do this level without a fully upgraded Smallfry is impressive. At max level, he defeats enemies and extends soak blocks almost immediately. I relies on him so much to get though the soak blocks and flying section, but you tackled like a boss without upgrading him!

I did, it’s not the worst. Soak bocks isn’t the worst without, and for final battle, I used him as a distraction, as for final wave in that battle, used tenta missiles after 3 enemies died, cleared out the bullshit tenta missile enemies. Ink vacuum afterwards helped me live too Worst part of the fight is easily tenta missiles, as well as if armor breaks you are so slow, you are a sitting duck

I've never wanted to jump off a building more than when I played this level

I am a well seasoned splatoon veteran and I’ve been at this level for like…an hour 😭 I mostly keep dying because of the weird depth perception that causes me to fall into the abyss haha Edit: I finally finished it I am an *emotionless husk*

As a sucky player with all my gear updated it took me 9 hours (with small brake obviously) but that octoling battle alone is what dragged on. never again

The final section made me appreciate Smallfry SO MUCH MORE!!! Like, the little salmon instakills the Octolings when fully upgraded and can take quite a beating before dying, which is enough for me to toss an ink bomb. If this level doesn't fit the Nintendo Hard difficulty, what will?

Its like an american ninja warrior course on drugs mixed with girl power station from octo expansion.

my flex is that i made it to the first checkpoint deathless, but uh. the balloons. please kill the balloons

here’s my flex- i beat the octoling phase first try, beat the soaker phase first try, beat the balloons within 5. phase 1 took me 1 and a half hours.

i thought the octoling part was funny in the 3rd phase with the specials, as it turns out, you can just kinda force them to use their special if you just click down the right stick doesn't even matter if you have a special or not, they're programmed to use their special exactly when you try to, it seems.

Great Job! I’m sure better players will handle this level fairly easily, but for players like me who don’t have a great handle on the mechanics of Splatoon 3 yet, this is honestly a decent level to get the hang of things. Im still not great at Squid Surging, BUT im gonna try improving Also I got my Teddy Bear Band accessory so im EXTREMELY satisfied lol

Been playing since the first game and continued playing in and out and I'm suffering

it looks like reaching the first checkpoint is the hardest section

Personally the first part was the hardest for me. The other 3 only took about 3 tries. The first part took me 26 times :/ wasted a lot of eggs restarting over and over.

I have horrible depth perception and forgot completely about higher squid jumps by holding b instead of just pressing it. died so many times to the ink rails... i actually think i died less to that section than the octoling section, which i disliked more.

Inner 3 is one hyper inkling with multiple layers of armor. After Alterna is 3 waves of Octolings with the final wave having various special attacks. Depending on how you play, one is harder than the other

I used to use stick controls, i managed to beat inner agent 3 with them last game somehow lol, i play with motion control now and looking back i dont even know how i could do that with sticks.

This happened to me last night!!

as a splatoon veteran, this was difficult at first but took me 20 mins to beat it, the ocotolings at the last are hard if you don't take out the ones that land at the corner of the arena since I found it to be one of the minor keys to ending the fight faster, other than that, the squid surge jump is tricky, but if you haven't beaten the level, don't sweat it, you got it guys :D

That fact that this level made me so mad that I broke the screen of my switch and now I have to get it fixed.

You nailed After Alterna first try deathless. I’ve been stuck here for an HOUR.

I JUST completed it after dear God knows how long (I definitely lost my sanity somewhere along the way) and that’s after doing every kettle with every single weapon since launch (FINALLY! T^T)

twice i got killed in the final section from specials going off after i killed everyone, it was so painful

The octoling difficulty spike was brutal

Cannot wait to see your overfishing for this game. Idk if it's just me but salmon run seems brutally more difficult than in 2.

It's not just you, Nintendo definitely made it harder.

I looked this up cause I got frustrated with the first section and wanted to look up how long it even was. My initial reaction: - "There's SECTIONS??? I'M ONLY ON THE FIRST ONE?" - "Oh I'm basically at the end of the first section before the check point. I guess that's a relief... 🙄" - "God first Inner agent 3 and now this making me look like I didn't sink thousands of hours into this franchise as a whole." If I ever make it through I'll update this. It was mesmerizing watching you fly through this level. ty for uploading :) *edit:* man y'all weren't lying about those balloons... but I did it! finally! 😩👌🏾

Little tip for the part where you have to latch onto a block that keeps moving without falling, hold a squid surge to not fall, made that part way easier. Someone probably commented this already, but just wanted to say it incase nobody has

This level’s first section wasn’t so bad once I got it all figured out, but the second section was the worst. Especially the upwards spiral. I ended up twisting my arms too far trying to aim for the balloons, which was painful. The drop at the end I passed on the first try though. The last two sections were pretty easy and I only lost two lives on each of those. But the second section... Ugh.

My tip for the octoling battle is don't try to take them all at once it's easier to go one by one AND just keep moving. If the mass is coming to your safe area just abandon the place and just get one octoling at a time. Of course everyone has their own method. Just find what's easier for you guys

I'm just here to confirm that there is, in fact, a checkpoint after the grindrail section, a fact that has confirmed I can do this and won't throw my controller against a wall.

Tomorrow will be my 3rd day i attempt to beat this god forsaken thing. I'd rather fight Agent 3 again. Although i know it won't happen i wish they changed the Ai... Cause at the end all 3 gang up on me. Im stuck in their ink , jumping to avoid their special (2 btw ) and one throws Bombs while the other shoot at me. And i have to keep turning the game off cause it's way to late. Making me start over (took me 2+ hours just to beat the Target one)

I had a few problems with that to and over jumped it once. Line up the camera so you face the rails. Personally for me I went to the end where the rail starts and jumped there Just jump and hold up on joystick slightly but not to far

I find it funny how i almost did this level deathless on my first attempt , i only died at the end with the octolings but everything else was done in 1 try

A single player Level with Chest Hair

Thank you to ChampChamp3000 for uploading your most recent shotless run of this game and helping me realize that you can use sub weapons other than small fry on this stage, don't know why I never tried using them before that... It took me almost 3 Hours to beat I wish I played like you 😭

This level was a pain in the ass for me. The 1st part is okay(only died once) but the 2nd part where you have to shoot the ballons it took me 2 hours ! I really suck that those kind of levels. Then finally got to the 3rd part and again only died once here. Then here comes final part with the Octolings omg. First and second waves are okay but last wave is horrible. Like you can die in mere seconds just because you have like 4 Octolings using their ults at the same time. You have to avoid waves while avoid missiles while avoid shots from a jetpack. After being stuck 3 hours on this part I gave up. I was too tired to go on. Tried every possible strategies but none of them came close to make this easier. It's always the same: at some point I'm getting destroyed by 3 ults at the same time. I tried again the next day, only for my game to crash at the Octoling part. Never doing this again.

this is like if you took darker side from mario odyssey, put it into a splatoon blender, and than threw that one horrible target level from the campaign into the mix just because it would be funny, and than blended it ever more. inner agent 3 is NOTHING compared to THIS.

I feel like i would be able to do that because on my first run, i had to use at least 3 or 4 Retries so around 999 - 1332 Power Eggs used, but i only had 1 one the first one and the rest In the final part Against the Octolings
