I haven't really felt nor understood the impact of Damage Up when I first played the game.

Splatoon 1 has that cartoony feel to it. Perfect for hackers that have a wii u with so much dust it would be in a grampas bookshelf. Great video as always alpha!

@@slimshady1987 i played Since 2015, only found hackers on the Testfire (AN Octoling IN MATCHES, and spamming specials) and Rarely found hackers from 2016-today

@@Alphastar716 The automatic cheat prevention in S2 is a lot more strict, so I don't see it getting quite as chaotic as S1 (in S1, only the static.pack file and certain things in the save are checked. On top of that, the static.pack checks can be pretty easily bypassed with memory edits to spoof the hash checks. All the rest of the game files are not checked by the anticheat, and can be safely edited.)

Now I wanna play Splatoon again to encounter the hackers, and after the video I will indeed play it again. I have never actually encountered a hacker before

I played for about 1 1/2 hours and encountered all of these hackers. Maybe it just depends on the time of day.

@@Alphastar716 Good news, took 11 days, but I got a hacker, or two in the same lobby, one on my team and one on the other, the ones on our team kept making the ground fully our team color, same with the other person on the other team

And from this video we learnt Alpha can't aim.... wait we knew that already

After watching this I'm now afraid of the possibility of damage up returning in splatoon 3, or some other form of it. (No mpu doesn't count as the damage effect only works on certain weapons) If it does...oh boy. Awesome video Alpha! 🐯

I think they know realize they make a mistake every time they add damage to a weapons shots but other MPU buffs aren't awful. So hopefully they just keep damage up out of Splatoon 3 x)

Probably not. They've been good with not delaying games so far.

I have played Splatoon 1 for years, and never encountered a hacker, along with Splatoon 2, I'm guessing I'm unlucky because meeting a hacker in a video game is on my bucket list 🤣

@@Alphastar716 Yeah, and as I said, I regret though what are you going to do? Most of the consoles have probably been liquidated and the only way now to play the old games is to either emulate them (which I dunno how to do or where to go) or to just remake, mod and distribute them behind Nintendo's back and never post any evidence of their existence online. Which, I am joking about the latter option because that would be illegal in every sense of the word and would hurt Nintendo in ways unimaginable to our mere fan minds.

Now i kinda want damage up or burst bomb charger in splat 3 since i didnt get to play splat 1, imagine zipcaster + burst bomb charger, now THAT would be fun 😈

Yo Alphastar716 just to pop the logic of one of the hackers in your video was wearing a lab coat called SRL gear the banner has S.R.L on it it’s technically not legal to have unless obtained from the testing software of Splatoon mainly what has been long gone.

Anti cheat still prevents that. Splatoon 1 has the worse one it takes ages to get banned

I have to point out that we will never get 100% painted map in Splatoon. Not even with hacking in our side

It would have been worse/better if it was the Luna blaster or one of the blasters with the power up oh the memeries.
