So nostalgic I remember like in 2019 or 2020 (2019 - 2020) {Prob} I got splatoon 2 it was so funnnnn Splatoon 3 ruined nostalgic moments but still very nostalgic 2 years ago Splatoon 3 released Splatoon 4 is probably in 3 years

Yes, I won't deny Spicy Calamari Inkantation is good on Splatoon 2 and 3, but for me the original hits harder, since is more playful and encouraging than the epic mood in the second and third version

i remember crying over the octomaw boss because i didnt realize you had to throw a bomb in the mouth 💀 memories

Yeah, that is officially the most badass finish I've seen to an Inner Agent 3 battle. If it ever becomes a cartoon/movie/anime/what have you, that had BETTER make it in as a climactic finisher.

We gone from battling octoling’s weaponry, to a literal grizzly bear.

Did anyone else over-use splashdown during all splat 3 & it’s bosses and called it the “super salmon (play on/sometimes slammin) splash ultra juicy combo deluxe”? Or sum like that or was it just me who splashed down on all the bosses to get an KO during their dizzy animation? Edit: was I the only once who noticed how Big Man’s boss fight was literally just that big stingray from Super Mario Sunshine in the hotel level? And like first time around, I played 3D All stars so It is very recent on my mind so did y’all see it the first time/at all?

its been so long since I played the first splatoon I totally forgot about two of the bosses from that game.

You know what would be a great final boss for splatoon 4? This: Mr Grizz and Commander Tartar team up and turn the NIHLS statue from Splatoon 2 into a giant robot, steal the great zapfish to power it, and then trudge toward inkopolis, hoping to destroy it Godzilla style. They are also accompanied by an army of octarians that are both fuzzy and sanitized following behind the robot. You have to chase down the giant robot using an upgraded superfast inkjet and fight through the army. Once you reach the statue, the inkjet is destroyed, forcing you to climb the robot (which is covered in traps, enemies, and foreign ink) on your own. then, on top of its head, you battle a robot inkling that has an arm that can transform into all sorts of different types of weapons. After destroying it, you're knocked off the top of the head and the robot is about to crush you under it's foot, but then all the sea creatures of inkopolis come out and start fighting the army as the calamari inkantion begins playing. The same sea creature energy that turned smallfry into hugefry at the end of Splatoon 3 then turns you into a giant equal in size to the Giant robot. You then wrestle it in a one-on-one fight, and finish it off using a giant Booyah bomb charged by the booyahs of all the denizens of Inkopolis that came out to fight the army in an epic finisher

Doesn't mean much when trilogy in game terms is just 3 games, like phoenix wright, the first 3 are a trilogy, and then more games came after anyways, also professor Layton where the first 3 are also a trilogy, both of these series also has a trilogy after the trilogy Edit: nvm I think they said saga not trilogy, would be dumb to end a series that gets massive money

Whats interesting to me about the splatoon series is in splatoon 1 you can barely start seeing the lore of the game peeking through and its really really cool especially with the music, level and boss designs. In splatoon 2 the lore is REALLY there, especially with the octo expansion and i felt like splatoon 2 just had so much love put into it. In the 3rd one its alright, with the side order it makes it just a little better. But imo, nothing will compare to how much story there was in splatoon 2, i really miss it.

I hope there will be more Splatoon games...

I love how Octo Maws was technically brought back in the form of the actual Maws and had more lore added onto it without the actual boss coming back.

I do not regret to have splatoon 1 , an amazing game. The first time , my dad bought me "a random game" for me was meh, I was terribly wrong.
