Honestly fuck the Olympics for hockey, it's extremely overrated. World Cup ( small rinks ) goes for better overall action and brings out the rivalry with a playoff vibe to them.

Yeah they cancelled the one that was suppose to happen in 2020? Regardless of that, it was still said that's the kind of format that they want to go by for now on. Imo I could care less if the next national tournament is after 2025. As long as they continue from where they left from the World Cup of hockey than I'm good. Normal size rinks are for the best imo

2022 Olympics. I’d love a maritime line of Marchand-Crosby-MacKinnon
These interviews were golden. Nice relaxed setting, good atmosphere. Some really funny stories from both Sid and Mackinnon, and some really interesting ones too. I think it was brave from MacKinnon to share so openly about his harder patches of his career and super interesting also. From MacKinnon - Barkov pair, Sasha has always been my favorite so far being a finn and such. But I don't know anymore. Plus Nate plays for the right team. More of these please!

I remember the pre season fan meet and greet the first year Mac was with the Avalanche, he was 18. He was asked to speak to the crowd and he turned completely red. He was such a young kid and you could tell he was super embarrassed and awkward. It has been fun watching him grow up over the years and yet still a nice kid!

Love these interviews! When it's hockey players interviewing hockey players, the guys open up and talk.
Stoked for the Lil Croz record
Has to be one of the most honest professional athletes ever. Little wonder why everyone from Nova Scotia is so proud of him and Sid.
*Sid and Nate. Best bromance in hockey.*
This is unbelievable to see and hear. FANTASTIC interview. Want to share this with all the younger guys who are struggling with expectations.
He's a remarkable man. He's so open and honest about his personality issues. So direct and honest . Driven on a compulsive level. Look where it got him . What an athlete.
Best hockey interviews I've ever watched!
No shame in needing help, you can tell how much its helped him in his game and even just how he talks about it, so calm and knowledgeable.
Loving these casual interviews. Just like Sids, another fun video. At the same time sucks knowing about the trades and watching this.
The dude on the left looks like if Bill Burr had hair. Black hair. 19:17 Sports psychology talk. Interesting stuff. 27:40 His 99 point talk lmao. 37:16 LIL CROZ
Imagine if Seth Jones was drafted to the avalanche. His story is pretty cool. His dad was playing in the NBA for the nuggets and he just fell in love with hockey. And then they ran into joe Sakic and he gave him some tips on skating. It all started in Denver for Seth Jones.

A year Later after watching the playoffs that man is my favorite D man in the league, I would put him on any line against any team and any player at any time and have 10000% confidence. Rare fucking breed. Reaves in size and a offensive hunger to skate with the puck like Bobby Orr, strong in the corners on the boards and in front of the net like Big Buff. His number will be retired by the Jackets if he stays. I cant wait to see Jones face Canada in a gold medal game this decade, I wouldnt feel like it was a real win or loss unless he was there to face us.

Awesome interview. Keep up the great content!
43:17 nailed it Whit
I've heard of Spittin' Chiclets only from the Steve Dangle Podcast referencing you guys, completely unaware of where to find it or anything. Watching this because it popped in my suggestions and thought what the hell, how much more time per week can I waste listening to hockey talk? (as it turns out, all of it) So I'm geeking at MacKinnon giving a candid interview and about the 20 minute mark I slowly began realizing who was interviewing him. "Is that ...Paul Bissonnette?" [wide shot] "Shit, that's Ryan Whitney."
My favorite interview to this day
Not an Avs fan, but I can’t dislike this guy. Amazing player, and seems like such a cool dude. Great interview! Couldn’t keep the smile off my face:)

"Had a few drinks".... 30 seconds later. "Loaded, I was loaded." haha not hard to tell he's from NS.
Bro these two videos with Nate and Sid are both hilarious like biz and Whit were cracking left and right🤣
Best part is at 43:30 when biz is like "that's a stroke off if I've ever seen one" when mackinnon is just greasing makars wheels.
What he said about when he wasn’t doing well on the ice how it affects how you view yourself as a person, it’s so true. Whenever I struggled at a practice or game I would get real down until the next time I skated. I thought myself as less of a person or I had less value as a person. It’s tough to get over but being young you don’t really know how small sports is in life. Yes it can be a career. But it’s still only a career for a fraction of ppl for a portion of their life.
Go Avalanche. So happy to see him win this year. Great conversation/interview
