    Having watched the entire video (likely for a second time) I just have to say: what a fantastic piece of information. Love all the little “outbreaks in song” you do when stuff inspires. The U2 one when you dialed in the e-bows. All the little musical ideas you throw in there. Just a joy to watch and extremely useful.

He sure did, and to start things off the man gives me goosebumps with a terrific little folky song… Lovely! • @PraiseTracks

    @PraiseTracks

    Жыл бұрын

    Omar, Looking back at this, I might have misspoke. I pulled it up just now and am not finding a specific way to do the transposition. I did notice that it responds to pitch bend, so I am able to shift it that way. You can also use the TUNE knob at the top of the Kontakt interface to shift the pitch that way, the only thing is going to extreme in one direction or the other might cause some artifacts. Sorry for the confusion but hope this gives you a little help. Joyfully.

    I am not a fan of the spitfire dry sound. It sounds unnatural. The strings are especially bothersome. When you release the keys, the sound just dies as if the life got sucked out of them. This is a problem with spitfire - either too much verb or too dry. Not a natural decay, but truncated.

    So this was the first library that they did at Castle Sound Studios, which really did put things into that drier environment. Air Lyndhurst is the very opposite being very wet.
