Hi Rob, so glad to see you back up on the channel. Looking forward to this years exploits. I myself at almost 80 have my boat to get ready & hope get on a mooring down here in South Wales. Bad health has kept me off doing any for almost 5 years now but hope to be back at it this year. Engine fully serviced Just the wash & polish & Bass in May. Cheers Robin.

Bait table then cut a whole and put in a pot of such like stops leads rolling about. Nice to see the boat sorted and clean. Nice job.😊

I've added a couple of pictures of my boat that I used for Pike fishing in Ireland. A phone pocket was very handy for the odd smaller items but the trays mounted on either side of the boat were invaluable all the time for weights, lures, unhooking pliers & bigger items. They were a brush holder grooming kit carrier for keeping horse brushes & cloths in. They were originally back to back with a gap in the middle so you could put them over a stable door when grooming. I just cut them in half & screwed each side onto my boat. If you find them for sale let me know as mine when when I sold the boat to a pal in Ireland. I could use some new ones when I get my Sea Hog ready for sea in a few weeks myself.

Thanks Robin, I have some all plastic, general purpose storage bins that you might find useful. They’re designed as bathroom storage from IKEA, cheap & nothing to rust.

Your back, I thought you had emigrated, 🤣🤣what bad weather, can't wait for the first fishing trip 🤓

Nice to see you back. It's been so rubbish weather down here, each time a planned excursion and it it's too windy and wet. Watched a couple of small boats go out in Torbay but they returned after an hour or so.

Having seen you strip out the carbs on your last engine, I thought you would definitely be servicing this one yourself. There again maybe you may be short of time to do this - you can't do it all. We just have a 15ft ski boat at the moment but would love a Warrior - having seen yourself and John Locker's adventures it has got to be one of the most suitable craft for our coastline. Probably keep it at Lincombe or Kingsbridge like yourself, but quite expensive of course those mooring options. Looking forward to seeing you out on the water in May, as not much to be caught from the shore at present.😐 Keep up the good work 😀

@@fishingsalcombe Ha Ha - it's here on dry land for me to fit a new steering cable - the engine is old school 2 stroke 65hp Suzuki that weighs as much as a small mountain and need to be craned off to fit cable - another job on the 'to do' list. Never used it for skiing yet. Its a Glastron Spirit 15, just like the one in the James Bond film - Live and let die !
