I just finished a 30-day liquid only fast. I actually did the fast correctly and never felt more spiritually free, emotionally and physically lighter, and closer connection with GOD. Thank you LORD for giving me the strength! I had to pray for my family and repent for generations of curses and all, but I was filled with so much humility and adoration for the LORD, it just felt right. And the LORD told me to do it and I obeyed him. I studied the word and really got to dig deeper into the word. I enjoyed every minute of it even though the devil tried to deter me, GOD had me! You can do anything through Christ who strengthens you!! Amen!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I do a 24 hour fast once or twice a week. It seriously helps me understand the Bible more in dept. Everytime I fast I feel like I draw closer & closer to God🙏 it’s a blessing and I encourage everyone to look into fasting!

I am on my 3rd day of fasting and I am finally fasting correctly for the first time. God is good and faithful!

How did you fast can you tell me briefly i mean any eating or drinking water from morning to night i also want to do ...

I have been fasting almost every week this month because I really seeking God in my live. Some weeks for 3 days. Some 2 days. Last week I did fast for 7 days. I spent more of my time reading the Bible and pray.

I’m halfway through Day 2 of a 10 day fast. Wish me luck! 😂

So much of the internet is negative. It is so nice to have channels like this. The video is positive and so are the comments. The Holy Spirit accompanies this message.

10:53 i personally fast to thank God for what is has given me already. For the protection discipline and deliverance he gave me when I was rebellious and weak. Just me though, everybody should have different 'personal' reasons. Our God is an intimate personal God.

I’m trying fasting on lent for the first time and I’m more than excited. I’m doing it because I feel extremely weak I’m spirit and almighty in flesh and I want to be as close to god as there is possible I don’t want to be like this world I hate the ways of this world I need Jesus’s light and his will to fulfill me so i can walk in his purpose but right now I’m in such a dark place.

Are you from Fresno? I’m from that area but in the Bay Area now. I also lived in Stockton a loooong time ago.

I fast to work on my character. I have deep attachment issues but fasting brings me closer to God and helps me detach from a lot of things in the world. It also helps me love people in a Goldly manner, without a desire to possess or control them.

I’ve been doing this for four days I don’t eat till around 10pm and drink water all before.

I'm an Orthodox Christian and today is the the first day of our Christmas fasting which ends on 7th January. We also have the Easter fasting for 40 days, the Apostles' fast and a two week- fast dedicated to Mary Mother of God. The Orthodox also fast every Wednesday and Friday because of Jesus betryal and death on the Cross. Fasting is not about depriving yourself from tasty food but it is a means to your spiritual growth and getting close to God and His Son Jesus Christ, doing good and loving and helping your close ones.

Thank you for this explanation. Now I understand why I should do fasting.
