This is a perfect EP, top to bottom it flows and it has a blend of music and it’s amazing!! Courtney and Mike both confirmed that now, they will start writing for album #2 🔥🤘🏻

Me too. I think it's the melody of the chorus that really resonates with me.

They filmed the video for Ultraviolet not only as a one-take but at four different frame rates! Which is really crazy when you consider that Courtney would have had to sing (or mouth at least) the vocals to sync with the different speeds, on top of the movements.

This EP fulfilled all of my desires from them and personifies that which is Spiritbox. Such great feels all around.

I’ve been following them since the self-titled EP and The Fear of Fear is overall their best release. So good.

Ultraviolet and Too Close/ Too Late are my absolute favourites. Weirdly, Angel Eyes didnt do much for me, its still a banger, but just a little bit generic for me. Overall, this EP is just incredible. I didnt think they'd top Jaded tbh, but they did. Also, if you listen to the songs in their correct order, Ultraviolet is the last one, and it references earlier songs in the EP. Definitely pay attention to the lyrics throughout this entire EP, they're telling a story.

Putting “Angel Eyes” on a try not to head bang challenge is an immediate loss. That track just *bangs*

I love this ep when played from start to finish in order as they intended. Tracks lead into each other. There are also phrases repeated in songs.

Definitely a story being told about how we can get lost in self-doubt and believe what we think others feel about us. Love the through-line and the resolution in Ultraviolet's bridge/outro.

Mike said that the group chorus on Too close/Too Late was Him, Josh and Courtney

Perfect collection of songs representing the insane range that they have. Also, Mike is the king of the background ambient high note noodles.

that ambience at the beginning and end of the tracks help with their transitions between songs. Love when bands blend tracks in order. Great EP start to finish🔥

Loved the triple threat, guys! So, for the keen lyrical observer, there's a lot of ties between these 6 tracks. The most notable are mentions of a "crimson key", and the theme of her goals being "too close, and too late" then at the end in Ultraviolent "never too close, never too late". Very cool EP, love all the layers and degrees of metal present :)

The menacing glare in Angel Eyes, in my opinion, is the face of pain (sadness, loss). When you’ve lost someone/something you hold close. Keeping your innocence with you is hard as you grow older and experience hardship, you almost feel like two separate people. 50/50 all the time.

They’re even better when you play them per the track list in the EP all the songs from Fear of Fear have music videos 🤘🏻

I saw a comment on Nik Nocturnals interview that Spiritbox would do an amazing job on the score of horror movie and I totally agree!

I think my favorite track on the EP is still Jaded, it was just a perfect song on the entire EP! Also, this reaction video is for the people who kept asking for full album reactions, even though it's just the remainder of the EP 🤣🤣🤣

These songs are unreal, but when watched in order with the whole track list its amazing. We really are in a golden age of heavy music right now.

I love too close/ too late. Spiritbox at their very best.

love this EP so so much!! Too Close/Too Late's chorus gives me similar vibes to This Place Will Become Your Tomb by Sleep Token in the instrumental production

You mentioned the male vocal. Mike said in a recent stream that he's actually done vocals, usually harsh vocals, on many Spiritbox songs on every release. He's just blended in the mix. He said he'd love to do it live but he doesn't feel up to performing guitar and vocals live, so for now at least it's a studio-only thing.

Ultraviolet is one that was a strong initial favorite but a lot of the songs are really growing on me. Too Close/Too Late is close second now!

I can't really pick a favorite, I love them all for different reasons.

Someone was listening to alot of Black Tongue when they were making angel eyes.

I don’t know why I think this but someone please agree so I don’t feel crazy, but I think Courtney is the Madonna of the metal scene. Every time I see ultraviolet it just feels like a Madonna song and her demeanor is there as well.

Too Close/Too Late has some Underoathy guitar tones and electronics in there too that sounds really nice, and I feel like you don't hear a lot of bands leveraging.

Nice reaction. But I think it's a bit sad you didn't watch them in the right order. They are telling a story with their EP. Each Song flows into the next one, and the music videos too. You guy's watched it backwards 🙁

We watched it the way they released them, which is the way the band intended it, so that people would then rewatch in the right order
