Back when I was 6 and when my dad took me to spirit 2011, the exorcist prop used to scare the crap outta me. I couldn't sleep for a few nights. I wish I could time travel back to those years now that I'm somewhat mature enough to take it all in.

Same! I used to refuse and fight going shopping anywhere during Halloween time when I was like 4 cuz I was absolutely terrified of all the decorations. Now I love Spirit and going Halloween shopping everywhere. Sometimes I really wanna go back in time and go to every year of Spirit Halloweens they've ever had 🥲

This video is always so much fun to come back to, I remember seeing this when I was younger and I didn't know what spirit was at the time and I wanted to visit a store so badly lol.

Haha, actually when I was growing up, kids used "Bloody Mary" not "Candyman." "Candyman" seems to be the newer one solely due to the movie franchise. Then again...I was an '80s kid. Either way, I've tried both and I'm still here. :D Take care and thank you for watching! :0)

I love this video it’s so nostalgic

They also come to Canada, but I'm not sure about any other locations outside of US & Canada. Also, the locations are never permanent & open around late August/early September & then close on November 1st. They always occupy a large store that currently doesn't have a business. Most of them are usually old video rental stores, old book shops and sporting goods stores...at least around me. Always check out their site to see if a location is coming to your area. I freaking LOVE that "Bloody Mary" thing. Every time I'm there I'll pretty much just stand in front of it and keep pressing the button the whole time.

As long as you take good care of the prop and store it away properly, you should be a-ok. If you're kind of rough on props and like to leave them outdoors for long periods of time, you may want to consider a different prop than Demonica. Yes, this one opened during Labor Day weekend last year. My local one this year opened in late August though. :0) They typically open in early to mid-September. I hope yours opens soon! Take care and thank you for watching. :D

I haven't spotted him yet, but as soon as I do (hopefully sometime next week), I'll definitely get some footage. I always try and focus on every animatronic I see. everything about 2011 was great the props like gatekeeper creepy caretaker guardian of the grave the grave digger lurching vampire Ghostface were all so memorable the theme itself being a cemetery Wich is one of my fav themes for Halloween especially vintage Halloween over all a fantastic year for spirit if i could go back in time to any old spirit year this is at the top

I remember going and leaving immediately (or trying to) because Pinhead was in the back area, but I forgot the year he was there.

I LOVE SPIRIT STORES!!!

Yes! I went to Tatum's house last summer and posted the video on my channel. I'm in the "Scream area" every summer even though I don't exactly seek out the filming locations much. My cousin was an extra in the first Scream too. A super brief moment, but it's cool she was a part of it. :0) Also, you and me both! @tictacpink Haha, it's a lot of work, setting up elaborate displays, but I'd enjoy setting up the Spirit display. The only thing I wouldn't want to do is hang up costumes. @@zenssocool sorry to here. ours was at a recently closed dicks sporting goods wehre my dad had worked he didn't want to go in it. they were in an old circuit city a long time ago. a couple years ago they were in an old bath & body works. it was freezing in there. this season they're in the old best buy which will be bittersweet for me to go into I liked shopping there it used to be a large dept store so it was bigger than most. it's connected to a dead mall appropriately enough. but spirit sections off a small part in the middle of larger spaces. we also used to have halloween usa at the same time. most of those stores eventually turned into something else which is a good thing. but every season I can easily guess where they'll be.

Not during this visit, but yes, I made several purchases at Spirit last year. None of the big props, but I did get the Scream phone, Joker mask (which I turned into a Leatherface mask) and other small things. If I buy anything this year, I'll try and put together a video of purchases made. :0)

If there's anything in particular that you'd like to see more of (costumes, masks, animatronics...), just let me know. Haha, he is an awesome prop! I haven't seen him in my local Spirit store this year. They may have some left over in yours though. Some Spirit stores carry over some previous props sometimes.

@2kooltimboslice Even though I paid a visit to these two stores, the Spirit that is supposed to open real close to my house isn't open either. What is taking them so long?! I have a feeling it's more the former Borders fault, than it is theirs, but I could set up that entire place within three days. If anyone questions that...watch me, haha.
