Eternal rest is the most broken of the year, i went to a spirit once and it’s head never turned. I also had another one happen to me and the scary sitting scarecrow just flopped on the floor

looks like another eternal rest with helicopter syndrome. i came across one in my local store.

Me being the one who built almost all the animatronics in my local store, I know how to fix most of them, exept the widow, who lets her head tilted due to over-usage of the animatronic and eternal rest, who's a complete disaster

Each year my wife and I parade around our local Spirit and look at all the animatronics that are new for the season, thinking "these would be cool for a walk through haunt, but how are we getting these to stay straight on our front yard?" while also cringing at the thought of these expensive things breaking and malfunctioning. I feel sorry for everyone who spends thousands on these props to collect them for display only to get broken ones or ones that just don't last. It's what really stops us from investing in them (besides the possibility of theft).

Spirit Halloween gives you a card for people to call in case they break.

@@squareonion873 I understand that; it still would be heartbreaking to spend all that money on them for them to either break, fall over or be stolen. Thanks for the info, though; they sure are cool to look at.

The only ones broken in my collection are the ones I bought that way I’ve fixed most of them to fully working though a couple I still looking in to I’m very caring ablution my props I cover them when it rain I don’t over use them I put them back in original boxes and smaller ones I have go in big plastic bins I can fit 3-4 in one

I feel so bad for the spirit Halloween owners, they work so hard and this happens😢, I’m glad that dagger mikes head fell off that kid is so annoying

Great looking prop, but the one I purchased this year, actually only lasted "3" activations before the horizontal bar which controls the lunge forward, nearly bent in two! Unfortunately, the impact of the lunge is too great for the thin gauge metal used in the construction, and it simply bent. Certainly not up to the usual Spirit Halloween quality.

I also had darling dolly break on me. It literally just stopped retracting after 15 activations. I exchanged it for a new one and it's done amazing ever since. It seems like you play your chances with dolly, 50% she works, 50% she doesn't. But she's amazing

the animatronics themselves don't scare me that bad... it's the thought of a 7 foot tall clown falling on top of me 😭

The animatronic the scars me is Mr dark lil sleely bones the bat that flys
