Have you ever had Hook and Spiral knives together? I thought I was set when I got them both, but my damage went down from when I was just using Hook. I noticed half the knives weren't tracking and it turned my safe range build into a melee one. Thinking back on it maybe because the ones that shot backwards went out of range and therefore stopped tracking.

I've had them together, idk for sure but I notice spiral knives are just kinda awkward to use in regular non-boss rooms. Like for the Cerberus fight I was having all of them hit pretty consistent but it was kinda iffy in other rooms. I'm pretty sure it does decrease the range though generally speaking, I think its the backwards knives having to like turn around to track enemies in the cast. But whenever I get spiral knives I just try to get as close to enemies as I can so maybe that's why I didnt notice it much

Whenever I do get spiral I try boundless flurry as the second hammer, I think hook knives probably output more damage but they are just kinda awkward together so its not as consistent

@@grjt_ Had ranged cast so was able to stay further back. Next time I'll definitely go flurry if I get the option. Will probably be better for the Chronos fight anyway as I don't often get a chance to use a fully charged cast.

Yeah trying to get any charge move off on Chronos is rough. Him negating your time slows is super cool but it messes me up so much

IDK why but the spiral knives feels like the tracking is to unwieldy

Yeah, I feel like they really shine in the Cerberus room since there is enough space for them to track a bit wonky and still hit, but otherwise they are kinda tough to use.
