If Moros indeed become romanceable then yeah they definitely have some unique taste when the brother in love with Death and his baby sister is in love with Doom, probably take it from their mother

Considering that Moros sometimes chose gruesome ways to kill people out of boredom, and that it was Thanatos' job to retrieve those poor souls... I wonder what their interactions would be like. Thanatos isn't the "play with your food" type even though his job is arguably even more tedious; and he saw Zagreus getting himself killed brutally over and over again too, I imagine even the God of death must have a level of sensibility towards this. Still, Moros seems to regret his behaviour, hell, a greek god calling themselves fallible is already a LOT.

Truuue. An interaction between the two would be worthwhile, let alone a sibling's reunions under Nyx. I respect Moros for reflecting his own actions, but those words told me how detached he was from mortal life. That's a problem.

Moros nerding about Odysseus was very endearing. Failing to read the room because he was so excited to meet his idol was hilarious.

I cannot wait for the interaction with Zagreus. Two siblings toasting over having bedded Death and Doom Incarnate. Hades facepalms in the background, Nyx is just happy her kids are happy and Aphrodite is living her best life.

Moros’ interactions with Odysseus were so funny 😭 Moros standing there talking admirably about his pursuits when he was alive, while Odysseus is standing there about to shit himself from the fear of it all 😭😭😭😭 it’s so funny getting confirmation that Odysseus is in the game opens the door for so many funny interactions between him and other characters. I am so excited to see it (perhaps on this channel, time permitting, but definitely in game upon its release)

The VA Sterling Sulieman did a fabulous job. There's this stoicism to his voice, yet at the same time, you could make out a smile at times. The nuance in that and his cadence is very intricate.

Thats actually a fixture from the first game: to kinda show the divide between Olympian and Chthonic gods, the game gives Olympians posh, british accents and american accents to the Chthonic gods. The outliers to this only seem to be Zagreus and Melinoë given their status as children of the Olympians Persephone and Hades despite Hades being the lord of the underworld

@@alydmeri5654 I did not forget! Putting the entire House to slumber was presented so casually in Hades 1 lmao. Someone theorized the dreamscape fight, and that would be really cool. If Hypnos has a chance for a larger role that would be sick. He could very much just play as the comedic relief again, but he definitely holds information not even Hecate has access to. We'll see!

I know it's early, but I like Socially Awkward Thanatos. He's surprisingly polite for Doom itself, plus the fact he feels like a Vulcan at points does not make things worse. Poor Odysseus, though.

Right lol. I'd like to think he gained a detached pov, working closely with the Fates. Being responsible for many devastations, he probably views mortal affairs like an animal documentary. I do enjoy the fact he couldn't read social cues, like Odysseus being nervous as hell when speaking with him. On a related note, I miss socially awkward Artemis lol, but Hades Artemis is great too.

@@TheSSBBfan666 I thought of this too about the same-sex and the turning the man into a deer story! She’s definitely more comfortable with Mel. But it’s hard to say between Zag because she also favored him during Hades 1 because she found him relatable for feeling alone in the underworld. I’d also consider Artemis warming up to Zag as the years went on, but I take your point. It also appears Mel has had more opportunities to know Artemis being Silver Sisters. It is so cute seeing Artemis at her most comfort.

I'm thinking ody he is lying to reason of their break up. It wasn't cheating but I think what he means for disloyalty is deeper, I think Penelope is on titans side and she can't forgive her husband choose the Gods. Penelope has a lot reasons to hate the gods. All terrible things happen to her cousins Helen and clytemnesta, because Gods want to finish heroes time. She have to endure people who want to kill her son who were also abusing hospitality rule. Did Zeus intervene? Nope, she was alone to keep her kingdom and keeping herself and her son safe. Her husband was punished so much times. In while time ody wants to weasel his way to protect her

Part of me wonder if Hades 2 is going to have the idea of “unraveling” fate as a core theme. Mel pondering if Arachne got screwed over because her skill as a weaver potentially rivals the Fates, Moros having to actively go against his nature as Doom to aid Mel and staring to regret helping his sisters’ toy with mortal lives because of that.. I think the most interesting aspect of it is having the main villain be the master of time. Fate needs the progression of time forward to matter, if Chronos were to will it to halt, their designs would never come about. Even the name of the hub could be seen as fitting into the theme. The Crossroads, a place where many different possible paths could be taken.

I can see both. It's the fact he comes out as rational. Ares had the same effect on me, who's mostly portrayed as, "Unga bunga lets go to war!" type of guy in popular media. But in Supergiant's, Ares is presented more sophisticated and well-read on all battles and weapons historically. Relatedly, they could've made Doom all scary and his voice belows, but instead he's very calm and approaches life in third-person. Most likely a side-effect of having access to the future.

3:26 Even though he is the God of Doom, Moros is still one of my favorite deities. Because Moros is also God of Nothingness and he is one of the deities that represent of something like protect, creation, benevolent, and useful. 15:14 Actually, there are his siblings who are worse than Moros and that's why mortals hate them so much. You saw my comment about Enyo, Eris, Angelos, and Arge because they don't look like the daughters of Zeus and Hera and that was a Lie and Falsehood like someone who committed fraud, wrongdoing and then fabricated the fake rumors like mockery around and trick everybody. Now I see that Eleutheria also has lies and deception in there. The worst things I saw were some fake rumors saying that Hera had some affairs 1) with Prometheus and then she had her son Eurymedon, 2) with Typhon and then she had the serpent monster, and 3) with the nasty god Dionysus (bastard son of Zeus) and then she had Charites like Aglaea and Pasithea. As a result, all of these are the parts I also hate about Dionysus, Hera, and the fake rumors that tell lie and falsehood about the deities of Greek mythology.

@@Hamstir4 True, but few of them did not serve Hades like Sophrosyne, Epiphron, and Elpis. Because they are represented for temperance, prudence, and hope. I hope Elpis can get out of Pandora's box, because Elpis is very important, she belongs to benevolence, and the world needs Elpis like Hope more than ever. Same with sister Sophrosyne (Temperance), brother Epiphron (Prudence), nephew Ponos (Diligence), and the heavenly virtue deities like Aidos (Humility) and Eleos (Compassion).

I only recently found the Skelly interaction so perhaps I could look into it more. I was anticipating for other gods to talk about a Moros too like Aphrodite but alas. I’m sure Haelian encountered every dialogue, he’s got Hades down to a T. If I ever do find Dora’s interaction, I may reupload this whole video or save it for pt. 2 when Early access is out.

I could not defend Moros on this either. They try to humanize him, saying that he had access to the future and work was repetitive. Makes sense, but that's still awful Lord Moros sir. From his point of view, it's like magnifying the sunlight at an ant out of boredom. Mortal affairs are insignificant to him.

Worry not Wolf, for Nemesis is planned. She can be mean, but I think it's justified. And at times, I do think she's valid. She's more frustrated in that she is tasked to sit still, while evil is going unpunished.

"Expy" "Foil" "Similar Substitute". Whatever the term you want to use, Moros is that to Thanatos.

I was thinking between Hecate or Odysseus. Hecate may be difficult to determine which interactions are important. I may be more selective with Hecate, similarly when I work with the Olympian gods.

I wonder how Moirai will look They incredibly cute in Death must die, bullet heaven/roguelike with certain design inspirations from Hades (and plot that is backwards with plot of Hades II lol. We killing Death for behalf of Time, not other way around. And Death's daughter is one of the allied gods)

So... is Nyx... dead??? The conversation about her seemed to suggest that .. 😢

The story could possibly go that direction, but I don't think that's the case here. As for the conversation, it was more about Moros and the Fates knowing so little about their mother in general, despite being her children. So, Moros and Mel had a heart-to-heart sharing how little they know their own mothers. As for Mel asking for forgiveness when invoking Mother Nyx's name, it was more of an act of politeness as you mustn't bring up their name so casually. Similarly, this is cautioned when bringing up the Fates.

Nemesis is also one of the gods I may be bias to, albeit my knowledge of her is rather basic. Her premise in passionately punishing evil suits my belief as well. It’s not a one to one ratio, but I felt Nemesis’ personality would be similar to Rorschach (Watchmen). Or vice versa, with Nemesis being Justice incarnate. Rorschach has his own set of issues as a character, but his commitment in being the boogeyman for criminals is the same vibe I’d admire from Nemesis. “Receive underserved good luck” is a very interesting phrase. Nemesis has some nuances with these conditions.

Oh gods and demons like Odysseus was almost PERFECT till that last part! Gosh broke up with Penelope?! After death?! What bs! Also "unfaithful"? In the Odyssey he HAD to sleep with Circe because Hermes told him he couldn't refuse her and Calypso was keeping him against his will like...why?! It was perfect till that last part! 😢

When I met Nemesis, I really wanted to hang out with her, Hermes, and Hecate and then find a man named Yuuto Uemura to punish him. Because he is a man that I hate very much and want to punish him. Also, he played many roles male fictional characters that feel like sad, arrogance, boring, nasty, and anger. For example, Hiro (Darling in the Franxx), Minato Narumiya (Tsurune: Kazemai koukou kyuudoubu), Kazuna Masunaga (B-Project), and Minato Kiyomizu (Re-Main) that kinda make me not impressed, not interested and don’t like about him. If I meet Yuuto Uemura, he would not cut out for it.
