love your thoughts on spinning. it's shared by many of us. Peasant combs are the ones with 1 row of teeth at the end. One is clamped to the table with the other one is in your hand and you pull the fibers apart.

Thank you! Are Peasant combs the same as wool combs?

I just got some at the Fiber festival of New England, I came right home and started combing it.. there are some short pieces that come out that way, I’m saving it to mix in with my angora fiber but doing the long parts right up.. I didn’t even wash it! It is beautiful you are correct about how shiny.. I wanted mohair to see if it adds strength to sock yarn! We will see. I don’t always follow rules… I have never worked with mohair before. But I am enjoying it: I also bought some pygora and got some cashmere off of some Nigerians that I’ve been de hairing.. that is a-lot of work but worth the effort

It would be great to watch you do a blend of mohair and angora as i also have english Angora rabbits that i haven't done much spinning with.

I bought an angora goat fleece at the Rhinebeck Wool & Fiber festival last month. It's now washed but I haven't moved forward with it. Generally, I like to know the rules, I may not always follow them though.

That's awesome! I hear so much about Rhinebeck watching other people's videos. It always looks like a great festival.
