Today we are unboxing the THINNEST Spinnaker so far and one of the thinnest 300m water resistant watches I ever handled, the new Spence 300.
Although Spinnaker claims 10,9mm in thickness, measuring with 2 calipers, both a digital one and a mechanical one, showed 10,7mm which is INCREDIBLE for a 300m water resistant diver!!
It not only helps in making the watch look better proportioned, but also makes it wear more comfortably as it sits low on the wrist. With a caseback that sits flush with the case you get the feeling it is a quartz watch!!
They achieved the thickness by going for a Miyota 9039 movement, a higher beat true no-date movement that beats at 28,800 bph and comes with both hacking and hand winding!!

I have the "Coca-Cola" Spence and It is one of my favorite watches. The bezel and dial paint shifts from crimson to black with the angle of the light. The "SpeNce" moniker is oddly printed but the finishing, movement and case design is superior and very comfortable.
Spinnaker always did make their watches very big so this looks very good. But they already have a catalog of 12 divers. The designs are starting to look a bit repetitive- what i'd like to see is them revisiting and making smaller versions of their most popular/original existing models.. e.g. the Dumas.
I own this in blue, movement is super accurate it gains 5 sec a day, my only gripe is the bracelet pulls the hair on my wrist sometimes

The thinness of this 300m diver reminds me of the Seasmaster 2254.50, and this color variant has a BB58 vibe. Love the dimensions, matte aluminum bezel and hand set. And I like creamy faux lume. But not sure I like it here. Maybe it just renders bad on camera, but the lume on the bezel looks more mustardy than on the hour and minute hands. And don't like the color of the second hand, though I'm sure others will. Great review!

Another very thin diverwatch with 300 meters water resistance, is the Tag Heuer Aquaracer WAF1112, with only 10mm thickness, but with a quartz movement.

terrible lume and San martin are really showing them how to do quality . Spinnaker need to get things right quickly

Well this is almost a full millimeter thinner (11.5 vs. 10.7) which, in watch terms is A LOT, but NTH does make some really nice looking watches

It's a waterproof leather, not sure how they do it, I assume a coating of some sort
