    I recommend being cautious with asking what the day of the week is or the exact date. That question is harder than it sounds, as we often don’t know what the day of the week/date is. If they are close and they get the right year, that works for right now. Additionally, if it’s early January and they give last year's year, that works too. Basically, if it’s a mistake anyone could make, accept the answer unless they gave other worrying answers.

    The altered mental status could actually be the cause for the fall in many cases (for example, in a stroke and other neurovascular conditions) rather than the altered mental status being caused by the fall.

  • @ttfun4421

    no. If a neck injury is suspected, the cervical spine has to be stabilized before moving the body position, which is hard to do without neck bracelets and a helping hand. Best to keep the person at the original position

    @@arthursnoeck Yes that's correct. What I meant was keep the patient in his/her original position, check pulse and breathing and airway, then decide on the next move. Unless the original position hinders giving basic life support, no need to move the body.

    Sometimes without bleeding out is the most dangerous spinal injury even though the patient could explain that he or she is feel ok but still needs to see doctor and be treated as though have outer bleeding, with this I'm stand to be corrected though, just a comment.

    if youre alone just do straight compressions but if you need to oxygenate you can use the head tilt chin lift but very carefully. In a cardiac arrest they are already dead, and risking a c spin injury to ventilate is the correct way per National Registry.

    Here’s a transcript that relates to the injury! [The Powerpuff Girls are walking down some stairs, carrying boxes which hold games, toys and books. The games are carried by Buttercup in a green box, the toys are carried by Bubbles in a blue box and the books are carried by Blossom in a pink box. The three fall down the stairs; the boxes open, making the games, toys and books fall out when they hit the floor. The three girls cry loudly. Buttercup stops crying.] Buttercup: I think I just killed my spine bone. I’ve become a caterpillar. (begins moving like a caterpillar) (laughs) I’M A CATERPILLAR! Bubbles (crying very loud): I’M HURT SO MUCH! (tears become ocular gushers) WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Blossom (crying): PROFESSOR! [Professor Utonium hears the girls (except Buttercup) crying and runs to the stairs.] Professor Utonium: GIRLS! [The girls stop crying and look up at Professor Utonium.] Professor Utonium: Buttercup! Are you okay? Buttercup: I’M FINE AND I’M A CATERPILLAR! (laughs) Professor Utonium: Oh, um, one question: HOW ARE YOU FINE AND WHY ARE YOU MOVING LIKE A CATERPILLAR!? Buttercup: I NEED LEAVES TO EAT! GIMME YUMMY LEAVES! Professor Utonium: Okay, (grabs washed spinach leaves in a bowl) here are your ‘leaves’. Buttercup: YUMMY! (eats the spinach leaves) Professor Utonium: Blossom! Bubbles! Are you two okay? Bubbles: No. Professor Utonium: I’ll have to send you three to the hospital! [Buttercup’s spine bone heals immediately.] Buttercup: Now I’m a beautiful butterfly! Professor Utonium: Ok, two then. [Blossom and Bubbles’ spine bones heal immediately as well.] Professor Utonium: Ok, you don’t need to go to the hospital then, girls. Girls: YAAAAAAAAY!!!!! [The girls put the things back in the right box, leaving their trails behind. They fly to their room to play with the toys.] {The end}

    John 3.16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
