Articulated long hair for action figure characters is what I always thought was needed. Hope other companies will start doing it & do it well. Great Reviews Wade.

I believe single jointed elbows and knees that can’t bend past 90 should completely be discontinued for 1/12 figures

While this has more articulation, the NECA Kratos has more paint that made him look more premium in comparison, and he was much cheaper for only $19.99. For $29.99 with not enough paint and little accessories (not even an angry headsculpt), I think the NECA 2 pack Kratos and Atreus are much better with tons of accessories but since they are hard to come by, these are good enough for people wanting to collect GOW figures.

A God of war Thor figure would be insane

As a lifelong PS fan, I LOVE a toy line dedicated to some of PS biggest icons. I hope it’s not just modern and they make deep cuts. Jak and daxter would be an instant buy. Nathan Drake would be another great figure. I feel it’s a shame aloy was the first deluxe and intro to the line. I feel like that should’ve went to kratos, especially since it seems he’ll be dropping right after aloy. Visually aloy looks like a phenomenal figure. Kratos looks a bit lack luster compared. He looks more like a kids toy to me, while aloy actually looks like a collector figure. that articulation though will definitely be why I pick him up.

Been wanting an Aloy figure since the first game. After yours and Ds looks, I’m even more excited. Can’t ship fast enough. Great job man. Both look super fun and well made.

Cannot wait for what they have next for the PlayStation line As a fan of their many IP’s, i hope they make Ratchet & Clank, Ellie in her Seattle outfit from The Last of Us Part II, Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter etc. It looks really promising what they are cooking with PlayStation

Very cool! I was interested as soon as I heard about the Aloy figure. I'm a fan of the game and her design. She's looking pretty dope. For the price, I'd like Spinmaster to step up the paint a little bit, but I'm willing to support this new line. As for Kratos, he looks solid, but I can't get everything. I understand why you didn't do the size comparisons. I'm looking for ward to seeing them when you are able to.

Here’s hoping for a MGS snake.

What a good review, personally I like it a lot to be able to improve it, but can you take the thing off your chest? Is it sculpted separately?

I cannot wait to get my hands on Kratos. I just wish he came with Mimirs head on his waist/belt

@@ivanfrias2605 and you think a $30 figure is gonna do that 😂😂😂😂. Figma figures have great sculpt and paint. Articulation id great on the demon souls figure. Double jointed elbows and knees. Can 2 hand weapons. BB still has good range but not as good as DS. It is an older figure. Spin master figures are a step up from happy meal toys.

This is such an amazing start for a company that's not known to make action figures. I'm really excited to get these and can't wait to see what else they do. Also, is the kratos pre-order not up yet?

Definitely getting aloy and using that war paint face as I actually used that face paint in the game don’t need kratos as i think the Neca two pack version is generally better

First time I see Kratos without “L3 + R3” on the screen.

Pretty sure the thing hanging on krato’s belt is the key to activate the Bifrost

It will be nice to see Helldiver figures

Brotoys Kratos is also good in articulation, plus has a good height too for a god representation, just not licensed. I am surprised you are liking this Kratos, I feel paint job is not that good, plus those joints are good for a basic toy line, with a price point of $20 or so. Love the Aloy tho.

It’s the fun factor that got me with this figure. He’s a joy to mess around with. I agree though, the paint could definitely be a lot better. Oh the 5k Kratos is a work of art haha

Accurate 1:12 scale, nice

I am now very interested in seeing what Spin Master could do with Sony's' non-human characters like Sly Cooper.

I'm really liking that Kratos figure, it's sculpt and articulation gives me hope on the upcoming Jin Sakai figure. I do wish they added a little more in height, 6 1/2" at most. I personally think the exclusive treatment should've been spent on Kratos rather than Aloy, but that's just due to my attachment to the GOW series. Awesome review btw.

So far, can't say I'm interested in these 2 figures, but I do agree with you that they seem to be amazing figures that's for sure, which could have improvements for further figures I hope as well. If anything, there is one unlikely thing that may not happen, but would be interesting if it was possible, it be to see certain characters having a figure in this line that aren't just based on the popular games at the moment, like I'd definitely would go for the likes of Twisted Metal's Sweet Tooth or Medievil's Sir Daniel Fortesque, can't think of what other Playstation characters they could tackle on as those 2 are the only ones that came to my mind if not the ones I'd love to see get the treatment, but only time will tell.

Now this is the one I was waiting to see. Im down for all the PlayStation game figures.

The Neca Kratos and Atreus 2-pack still blows this out of the water. Better paint, better sculpt, better detail, better accessories. Though the Play Arts Kai Kratos is still the best in terms of articulation.

It'd be cool if they could do the PS4/5 Spider-Man since all the Hasbro ones suck, but I doubt it. Spin Master and Jada are putting the other companies to shame.

Ahhh yes, so that's why DAmazing didn't do one either... Kind of a weird request from a toy company.... From what I've seen in many people's comments the size comparisons are one of the most important parts to a toy review (Me included!).

These are closer to 1:12 than Legends. Legends are taller tha 1:12.

I dont think this is the best Kratos possible but its the best I can get my hands on. Should've just made him and Jin deluxe figures like Aloy. The secondary characters should be the $30 figures.

i hope spin master gives us a greek kratos from god of war 3 with an interchangeable right arm so you can have him either with or without the golden fleece, but if they dont do that then i hope they give us two versions of greek kratos one with the golden fleece like from god of war 3 and one without the golden fleece. i wish spin master gave this version of kratos his blade of chaos

i'll be honest. I never understood the "double jointed elbow" argument. as long as the elbow can do the anatomically correct bend which is around 135 degree it will be fine. a lot of the double jointed elbows look like shit when they are folded up anyway. they look like their elbow got cut off.

I hope they do Joel and Ellie the Neca figures are very expensive

Aloy is a must, I liked her a lot. I’m not convinced by the Kratos one. Looks small, it’s lacking an extra headsculpt, the blades of chaos and Mimir’s head. Kratos is a pass for me.

Appreciate the review, but this figure needs a lot of work. NECA has a far superior aesthetic. Seems like a very soft sculpt, not much paint and what's there is very slapdash. Price point is just too high to justify this purchase. Maybe like Loyal Subjects they can improve with time.

Compared to NECA Kratos looks like a happy meal toy...

Hopefully we get more legacy characters like Sir Daniel and Croc.

That Aloy has more paint aps and better articulation than any deluxe release by another domestic brand. To be fair, I’m not a fan of ab crunch because it does usually, if not all the time, ruin the aesthetics when posing. Of course, a ball joint would have been better but the way they engineered the whole thing makes up for it. I already have the LEGO Tallneck so the Aloy figure most likely will be on my shelf with it or with a certain import release of the best bounty hunter in video game history.
