I think your video helped me the best and i got my pc working again i swear i was ready to throw it away! I think basically its crucial to disconect the keyboard,lcd, the bios battery and all connections , i also cleaned the motherboard

Hey I split soda on my Acer Chromebook. I didn't know it was bad to leave it plugged in as I discovered on another video this morning. By morning, after quickly cleaning it and flipping it over the back was hot to the touch, and now plugging it into the power cord makes a guitar amp idle buzzing noise and no lights come on. Have you ever seen that with the noise? Is it completely fried or worth taking off the back panel for some cleaning and remove the battery etc.? Lesson learned to unplug it immediately next time and get the battery out, but do you think there's a chance for a hard reset etc - I don't care if I lose data.

Dude we have the same laptop how many hours will turn it on because at wednesday i have online class so i really need it.

My precession 7530 had coffee split over it and I have blow dried it for an hour and go it to boot back. But there is liquid in the middle and I can’t find a tutorial on how to take off the keyboard what should I do?

What if the laptop is working, but the keyboard is'nt working properly?

@@rosaobsession you can buy a new keyboard. they are quiet cheap and sustainable.

Mine still work but I can’t play game with high quality like Roblox Fortnite and genshin impact etc when I took it to a tech store they said it needs a new motherboard but I don’t believe that so any advice?

Never thought that I would sit here one day, 8 hours before my exams🥹💀🫠😟

As a sixteen year old who spilt hot chocolate on my laptop, I think I'm just a gonna have to buy a new laptop 😬

I was travelling with my family and my laptop and a thing of coffee creamer was in the same bag so a few hours passed and when we were moving the bag to the hotel room we realized the laptop was drenched in creamer, we rushed to the room and cleaned the outside but forgot to clean the inside and when we turned it on it said “no bootable device” i watched youtube videos on it but nothing is working but i havent opened the laptop yet so do i clean the inside and then use a flash drive to reinstall windows or no?

What if the key board has liquid in it and when you press it, it will slow down?

remove battery, hard disk, whatever you think could be damaged remove all panels run under lukewarm water clean off all water you can keep in a warm area/room 72+ keyboard wont work, use an plug in keyboard and a plug in mouse woo! pc is back!

I thought this was an easy fix

How do I fix the mouse? Water spilled on it 2hrs ago and the mouse dont work. Its my dads btw so ama be dead when he finds out. I put it in rice. Anything helps!

@@koduaaaa plzzz the fact I found this reply right after his laptop broke again. It literally broke cause the screen popped of. btw I fixed the water spill but I literally just begged the universe. I got so lucky tbh.

I spilled a bit of coffee and it almost didn't have any sugar. My laptop still works fine and keyboard is working too but I am low-key worried. I dried it with fan and right it is upside down, between monitor and keyboard there is my underwear so it will drain everything

Thanks but this didn’t 100% work because yesterday I was giving my mom a hug and the water spilled the computer is turning on properly turning on but the keyboard isn’t working properly.

I have asus a541n and this morning coffee spilled on it. Now i wanted to open it, it got stuck with start screen then it turned off. I pressed start button but it didn't work. The battery can't be pulled off, it's inside, even the keyboard can't be pulled off. I couldn't restart, and i pulled the laptop from the charger, but the charging light is still lighting. What should I do? Please help. I have a lot of things inside I didn't backup yet. 😭

@@tahlas Hey man, I actually asked a cousin of mine who knew about this, and he told me to immediately shut the laptop off and take it to a professional (If the laptop is still working it means you're lucky the liquid didn't reach the motherboard)...so to answer your question, I took it to a professional and he opened it and cleaned it from the inside with some product, be careful who you take it yo because they might steal some inside parts or something! Good luck.

Hello i have the same laptop and the same accident and i fix everything except the keyboard the half of it is damaged. I cleaned with "jupiter alcohol" and nothing happens. So there is any chance that i can save my keyboard and make it works again. Please help me and thank you

there is most likely liquid between the thin lining in the keyboard. you could try taking the back of the keyboard off layer by layer and drying them out. but there is a good chance you wreck the keyboard.

My laptop had soda spilled on it T^T the computer turns on the computer I just can’t type the password to get on roblox U-U I will never see chat again because I’m on Xbox.. aww man does this work with dells and soda- I should have not had the root beer god why did I feel a bit drunk from soda or something aaaaaaa

Siyyam Sarfraz chances are that the logic board might have gone bad. You easiest choice would be to buy a new screen and change it it shouldn’t be too difficult to change a Lenovo laptop screen. Most likely a tutorial online.
