I've always thought as Angel and Spike as brothers, Spike always wants what Angel has, Angel has Drew, Spike wants Drew, Angel has Buffy, Spike wants Buffy, Angel has a soul, Spike gets a soul. As much as Spike claimed to hate Angel I think it's more of a gelisoury thing, they are brothers in every sense of the word.

He wanted to kill her to add to his collection of dead slayers. & decades went by of Spike not caring that Angel got a soul. We all know he got his b/c of Buffy. However, they did always compete in many other things, w/ Spike coming in as #2 to Angelus' #1. Angelus always had Drusilla more b/c he tortured her to insanity & then sired her. Spike came in second place w/ her. They were even the #1 & #2 most violent vampires in recorded history. Spike coming in 2nd again. Compete w/ eachother over everything, fight almost to the death & then turn around & fight side by side. Definitely a brother-like bond.

Spike is one of my favorites since watching him on Buffy the vampire slayer, his character is almost like Robert Downey Jr from Ironman. I laughed when he said to that woman " get a cab you moron" Spike should've had his own show just like Angel did if it hadn't cancelled. 😂😂😂

Ikr! Spike is SO funny! Remember when Spike was at Buffy’s house and Angel approaches him from the outside but Angel wasn’t invited in yet? And Joyce didn’t know Angel yet so he was a trespasser to her? And Spike made funny faces behind Joyce? And told Angel “You’re a very bad man.”😂😂😂

One subtle joke I always loved was that Angel had a big dramatic change in his character depending on whether he had a soul or not but that Spike was basically exactly the same whether he did or didn't. He was just the same charming sarcastic British prick whether he had a soul or not and he also treated everyone exactly the same way.

LOL ! yeah, but only in the IDW comics after the show was over though. Was never mentioned or canon on the shows, but funny in hindsight. It seems pretty well known now, must have been passed around fandom, since it has been adopted as William's surname in nearly every fanfic.
