I am a simple man. I see rather inspiring recently made Buffy content, and I Like it.

Wow, powerful vid! My favourite part is probably Spike raising his hand to join Angel's suicide mission after Buffy saying, "It'd be suicide" but really, all of it was so good, how you juxtaposed all those different parts from Spike's journey.

This hurt in the best of ways. I love it.

This is perfect and exactly what I needed right now. Today was depressing and I was feeling that “ I just want to give up” feeling before I saw this. I don’t even usually like fan edits at all (no shade whatsoever, I’m just slow and understanding without context sometimes). There’s just something about his willingness to trudge on, grow and fight through with humour and earnestness, (which some mistake for death wishes, cynicism, etc) is extremely refreshing as someone who has certainly felt heartbreak and pain. James’ portrayal of spike was full-send and it’s really sprinkled throughout the show until the end, often lost in plot. You did a great job at cutting these impactful scenes together. The fans character assassinate Spike so much, and the writers ultimately did that too in two instances (bot in S5 & pivotal scene in late S6) that I often forget how much I connected to the humanity within him. It is truly beautiful. And brought me a bit of comfort in lieu of irl friends who are able to walk that line and balance realism and darkness with humour and genuine kindness and love. TLDR; thank you for editing these moments together, you really upped a sad sacks feelings this evening.

This is absolutely amazing. Way to revamp the character, the tone, and parallels are just perfect. Spike is so layered and interesting to follow. Truly a great edit, I hope you are proud of how it came out.

Absolutely fantastic Spike vid. Best I've seen in a long time. You also go there with his masochistic streak, not just his lovesick poet side, which not many vid editors do. It is widespread fanon of course that it was Angelus ,along with Dru, who developed the masochistic streak in him along with being a vampire of course. Fantastic editing and choice of scenes. It's fab to see new Spike vids that feel new and refreshing after all this time. Am loving your vids comparing Spike and Angel too. Have subbed!

Beautiful edit! I love the juxtaposition of moments from throughout his arc. It was also cool to see AtS content incorporated in a meaningful way, and I found song choice was super effective.
