Spike has a crazy high threshold for pain. He’s also just physically resilient. If Undertaker choke slammed me like that, at the very least, I would’ve broken some ribs.

Spike Dudley was the bump master. I thought he was injured everytime he took a bump.

I love Spike, growing up a little guy who got into a lot of fights as a kid Spike was reassuring about how much punishment a little guy can take and keep going.

Wow. This man’s attitude… Between that and his career… What a bloody legend. Wow.

Spike got me into ECW when i first saw it as a kid. I've never seen craziness like that before and was hooked. Living Legend in my eyes.

If ever there was a wrestler that I thought would not make to old age based on the crazy stunts he did, spike is that man.legend.

Spike was always a bit of a human crash test dummy. Its incredible the guy never got a serious injury from any of these kind of bumps. Tons of respect to Spike for doing stuff that most men would snap their spine and piss their pants at, also he was a really good worker when they allowed him to wrestle.

Spike is so honest and chill

WWE did push Spike, how many people get a match with Taker within their first 6 months of being there.

For a guy who was 140lb they gave him everything they realistically could. He was also paired with big show and won the tag titles as well.

I remember that bump! It had to be so painful to take! Still! I’m glad to hear that he has no issues with them to this day!

I've been watching wrestling since 79 and there's only ever been 3 wrestlers that I genuinely worried about. New Jack,Foley and Spike Dudley. The way that Spike would take a gigantic bump and just lay there unmoving. Christ it was like a crash test dummy. I'm truly grateful that Spike lived to tell the tales.

I still remember that choke slam from inside the ring to the floor outside the ring. I've done some break-falls in Ju-jitsu but that was brutal. Nothing to slow you down til you hit the floor. He must be made of rubber...

He took some of the worst bumps I have ever seen and I have been a fan for over 20 years. He belongs in every hall of fame ever. He is like Darby Allin, he can take so much damage and be just fine. It is crazy.

I grew up in the early 90s watching wrestling every week.... I feel bad that I can't remember this dude, but remember the name

I remember when they did the first ever brand split. Me and my brothers were talking who we would pick. And my older brother said his first pick would of be Spike dudley. I never got it when 11-12. But i can see why my brother rated spike Dudley. Guy was an absolute brilliant star. And even though he was never underated. I do think he was very underused at WWE.

Well I'm like 100 pounds heavier than him so that would be a lot more force on my head.

Always used to find it funny how small he was on TV, then I met him once and he was the same size as me...😳 was like oh shit, the other guys are just monsters

His size protects him. A 140 pound man's bones and brain are just as tough as a 340 pound man's. When Bubba goes through a table it barely breaks his fall at all. When spike goes through it slows him down a lot.
