I loved how he states that Avengers will be too much for him, and that’s why he planned to send the device off to a decoy, someone they’d never think about, since they’re already on the his red and blue ass. Great stuff.

In truth, he technically lost to the Avengers. Just, he outsmarted them to achieve his goal. Which the battle loss means nothing when he won the war.

Street level is more about how they operate rather than power level. For example, Clark Kent in the earlier seasons of Smallville. It’s Clark. We know he is super powerful. Even in Smallville, where his powers are still developing, he is incredibly strong. But he mostly dealt with serial killers and murderers. Hell, sometimes just thieves. That made him Street Level. Doesn’t matter if he is tough enough to fall from space without a scratch, or fast enough to run to another country in a second.

@@g.masterlordoftheg-force4770 I'm not even basing it on power level more like on ranking, Spider-Man is considered a street level hero since unlike the Avengers who operate world-wide and take on global threat cases. Spider-Man is the everyday guy who mostly, only operates in New York and deals with villain of the week tier villains in a basis although there are times he deals with global threat cases just like the Avengers. It actually makes him surprising as his status makes him appear easy but blows your mind once you actually deal with him.

How is MCU Peter nerfed? I mean sure, he hasn't accomplished as many impressive feats as his comic counterpart, but he slapped Falcon and Bucky around on his first ever real fight, he then slapped Cap as well but lost to experience. And in the latest movie he outsmarted, outwitted and outplayed Strange on multiple occasions. He is more than likely getting a power up in the next movie and 2 since he went solo.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that Spider-Man in the movies has been nerfed too much, he’s just heavily inexperienced compared to this one. The Spider-Man here has been through it all. He’s already matured out of his teenage years, fought against every one of his villains, teamed up with the Avengers countless times to know their strengths/weaknesses, and has also saved the world himself on multiple occasions. So this is not at all the same Spider-Man that is seen in the movies.

He's still got the edge in quick thinking, and Spider sense is still busted as hell, and- here's the real trick- even after all these years, Peter still comes off as an underdog, always underestimated, despite everyone at this point knowing how OP he is.

Going toe to toe with people he has no business winning against, barely eking out victories against "superior" opponents with pure wits and guile... that's why he became Marvel's mascot character, he's the best.

As funny as that is, Spider-Man is actually really great at sleight of ”hand” because he can stick his whole body to stuff.. like sitting on the ceiling or whatever… So he can essentially make something stick to the back of his arm, or his side or whatever… his fast reflexes combined with his ability to hide an object anywhere on his body without having to hold it is basically every magician’s dream. There’s even a comic once where he cheats at cards and they show he has a bunch of cards just stuck to his forearm lol but it was a joke game so no one was that upset. Who needs to stick something up their ass when you have sticky ass cheeks.. just glue it to your glutes!

@@SomeKindaHero117 Deadpool (and even She-Hulk, who was the first) break the Fourth Wall. They address the reader directly. While breaking the Third Wall is narrating of the events they are watching. Basically, what we see around us. If we are not involved. We are that "Third Person Viewpoint". We see what is going on but no direct control over it. @@salvyballacc The author is collectively known as "The One-Above-All". Or Marvel's literal God. The Deus Ex of the Multiverse. In some stories, The One-Above-All took on the form of Jack Kirby, others just some homeless man, to a being that has no real defining form, and others could say within the MCU, Stan Lee was The One-Above-All just having a good time exploring that universe. While at the same time, Marvel Comics does exist within Marvel's Universes. And yes, even Stan Lee and may writers, too, exist in those very same universes. So. It is best not to think too deeply. It is all Comicbook Logic by that point. Just accept it.

He’s significantly less powerful than him but Captain America doesn’t care because when he gets knocked down he just gets back up, when he sees someone more powerful than him he doesn’t run away he stands his ground and takes the threat head on even if the odds are against him, I mean not even Hela, the Godess of Death can convince him to die and join his allies and loved ones

Look, I love Spidey, and this is a great reskin of the time he humiliated the X-Men, but I'm pretty sure Carol doesn't actually need to breathe, and she can move at FTL speeds. I mean, she wouldn't do that in an atmosphere, but she is one of the few heroes that is both faster AND stronger AND more mobile than Peter, and nothing he can swing at her could actually hurt her. She's as much above his tier as he is above Cap's. This is pretty cool, I like that it showcases Peter's genius as much as his other qualities. Also, as soon as I saw the "Grand Manipulator" as Peter described him, I was like "that looks suspiciously like the Beyonder...", and damn if I didn't call it! Nice.
