It's kind of sad yet satisfying that normal people on KZread can make better themes for characters such as Spider-Man rather than full blown film composers with big budgets and full orchestras. This is a great theme, and while I like the film composers we have now, I would trade them out for people like you, Connor Hickling, Parademics, William Maytook, and others in a heartbeat. I hope to see more, like for Batman and using the BTAS theme, as well as Superman, maybe Avatar The Last Airbender also. Needless to say, I look forward to more of your work.

Jovany Marquez I respect your opinion, but for me personally...I expected more. The beginning of the movie when the Marvel logo appears, has a revised orchestral version of the animated 60's theme, I thought, "Wow, if this is how the score will be, this might finally be the score to rival Danny Elfman." Unfortunately, after that opening theme, the rest of the score was pretty bland, it sounded, to me, to much like a generic superhero theme, and not one that would stick with fans for years to come like Danny Elfman's theme has. It was serviceable, don't get me wrong, but I personally expected more.

It's a matter of opinion. I was impressed with the Giacchino score for Homecoming, but, excuse me if I'm wrong, it sounds like you're just yearning for nostalgia of already-known themes except redone in a sweeping, bold orchestral style to show up in live-action. I liked hearing the 60's Spider-Man theme for the Marvel Studios logo, but I'd rather composers be free to provide their own interpretation on things rather than be handcuffed to only working off of what was already done. I didn't grow up with X-Men TAS and I know a lot of people love that theme song, but if there was the notion that composers could only adapt already existing themes instead of creating new ones, is it possible we would have never gotten John Ottman's awesome theme for the X-Men live-action films? kzread.info/dash/bejne/g4GDuNVrhqurpLg.html I just personally think that's a little bit of a narrow eyesight, but... That's why there exist creative channels like this one where the fans express their creative side relating to these characters and properties. Cheers!

Everytime I listen to this, I imagine a scene where Peter is just trying to learn how to swing, and the bass doesn't drop until he manages to do a perfect swing, I imagine him doing tricks in the air and swinging through the city as heroes like Daredevil and Luke Cage look proudly

I can't help but picture this song apearing in a scene in the next spiderman movie . I see it like this : Peter been emotionally hit by tony's death and towards the begining of the final battle , peter looks toward his foe and as he puts on the mask he tells himself "Its time I become the hero you always believed i would become , Mr Stark..." After that line he does the classic spiderman fighting pose and the final battle of the movie begins . That's how i see it anyway .
