Fun fact: those lines (including "that all you got") were by Tobey himself! For No Way Home, Jon Watts asked every cast member for their ideas when he was writing the movie (but he wanted the Spider-Men to be creative with their interactions, especially Tom Holland)

Tobey Maguire had me hyped when he said “The Avengers? That’s great!” Because I thought it meant all the pre-MCU movie characters are all in the Raimiverse. But then that dream dashed when he said “what is that?”

Watched Tobey as a wee lad Watched Andrew in middle school Watched most of Tom in High school Watched all three after I graduated It's great to be a Spider-Man fan since the beginning, my friend 🥰

Still can't believe this happened. I was an emotional wreck when Tobey and Andrew returned! Childhood was made when I saw this for the first time! Tobey is the reason I love it, Andrew made me love it in a different way and Tom reminded me of why I love it!!!!

I feel as though toms Spiderman is the ultimate Spider-Man as the newest runs of the ultimate Spiderman has a lot of mcu elements. nick fury being drawn as Samuel Jackson, lot of Peggy carter lore being the exact same as the mcu and then phil coulson which is a mcu creation is now in ultimate Spiderman.

This is pure perfection, made me drop a tear

Just imagining what the view count in the first 24 hours would have been if this had been the official trailer. It would have broken the record, that the actual trailer got! And as someone who has been watching these films for half my life it was especially sweet seeing the different fonts for the Spidey's. Loved that way more than I would expect.

I saw someone else complaining that Tobey and Andrew doesn't have the avengers in their universe but I like that they don't. First of all it doesn't mean they don't have other superheroes and secondly I like it because it makes them feel more important in their universes. Exactly so people in Tom's universe thinks if one hero is missing there's others. Like when Ironman comes to save the people in the ferry. The guy goes yeah ironman. They didn't panic much. While people actually stands up against doc ock cuz they know there's no other heroes to save tobey. The people of new york comes together to help Andrew's spiderman to swing towards oscorp. Tom will never have a scene where people comes together to help him all he had was people coming together against him. It's hurtful and im still sure he's hated by ppl a lot still now he's alone and all.
