This fight scene is brutal. No overly done CGI, just two real guys in suits, the creepy dilapidated building. It’s just so dark. Also for most of this fight sequence, the lack of music score makes it that much more raw and intense. Similar to the scene where the shark ate Quint in “Jaws”.

This is the best super hero fight I've ever seen, Spider-Man gets his ass kicked without mercy by a foe who's determined to kill him without any remorse and who's giving him the most painful ass kicking of his life and yet he stands up determined to pick himself up and not give up, Spider-Man was literally beaten and broken it was his inner strength that allowed him to overpower Goblin and turn the tables.

Tom Holland’s will power is to impress Tony Stark, but Tobey’s Spider-Man will power is similar to Superman and captain America, cares about innocence of people and doesn’t care if it will kill both of them, they risk their life to save billions and tobey’s Spider-Man has that. That’s why Tobey is the best Spider-Man than Andrew and Tom, Andrew is good, but his Spider-Man is not an elite compare to Tobey’s.

The strength was always there, Spider-Man was facing his first known supervillain back then and was inexperienced compared to Osborn who seemed to have some karate tutoring as his apartment has some Asian decoration and the Green Goblin persona quote war strategy It seems possible Osborn in his spare time as a rich entrepreneur hired karate tutors to train him in self defense And now he’s super powered and his mind augmented by super genius, he was thrashing the inexperienced Spider-Man. But when he threatened MJ, Peter foused by justifiable rage and adrenaline went past his inhibitions and thrashed Osborn With his own super strength and strategy now he was pushing Osborn back

Probably my favourite Superhero fight scene of all time ! So intense and powerful ! As a Spidey fan I was so fucking pleased with this movie and especially this fight , love this fight scene and movie love it for goodness sake !

The no music in this scene really sells it. Well besides Dafoe's amazing acting. What could be a corny and cheesy character seems legit terrifying about how brutal and relentless he is. The fact he chose such a costume really portrays how far over the edge he's become. In hindsight, its great.

I think this is the best Spider-Man fight scene we have gotten in cinema. Nothing really measures up to the intensity of the situation and the sheer brutality of this fight. I know Spider-Man 2 with Doc Ock and the train is a fan favorite of many, but I just don't think it can compare to this one. This is just amazing (no pun intended).

Eh, as much as I love this scene, it's so slow paced and is over too quickly. Now Dock Ock's train fight gave us something fast paced. Don't get me wrong though, I love both scenes. It gave us something Tom's Spidey couldn't.

Defoe is the best at playing creepy or misunderstood characters. He was great in this and also other roles like clear and present danger. Very very versatile actor.

No one I know ever brings up how violent this fight is. Seriously, it is brutal.

This movie had some of the best fight scenes in all of super hero movies in my opinion. Its comprehensive and 99% practical effects and shot soooooo well

I don't know which is a more brutal beating? The way Green Goblin beat Spider-Man with his bare hands or how Bane broke Batman (physically & almost Spiritually) in Dark Knight Rises.

Batman beating up superman in BvS was pretty brutal too

Ok this was one the greatest super hero movie fights ever so notice how Goblin had the upper hand until he had the fatal mistake of threatening MJ when he did that he light the fuse in Peter

1:22 you can almost feel what he’s going through and if you were getting beat in the same situation you’d make those noises too, really good accuracy

1-william dafoe as green goblin really awesome and terrifying villian 2-i hope homecoming spidey-vulture fight scene will have this kind of feel ( like the explosion scene ) 2-tobey's spiderman #legend

When Peter emotionally snapped from Green Goblin's "affair" w/ MJ, it suddenly reminded me of the moment when Luke emotionally snapped at Darth Vader's attempt to make his own daughter turn to the dark side, as well.
