I will never forget Tobey Maguire as Spider man, he was iconic and still is the best icon when it comes to being Spider man. Love him!

Tom Holland is a phenomenal Spider-Man. Andrews Garfield is a phenomenal Spider-Man. Tobey Maguire is a phenomenal Spider-Man. All amazing castings, but what sets them apart, is the grounding and reality of SAM RAIMIS writing and directing. Goodness the cinematography of this series is legitimately what separates it from the other two and by a land slide. The villains are VILLAINS, Parker is HUMAN and relatable and you really feel for the pain he goes through.

You can also tell the difference in who was in charge of the Raimi films with the first two being phenomenal start to finish and perfect pacing where as the third one seemed like things were rushed, added, and altered. And that sadly is the true reason we never got Spider-Man 4 with carnage.

its not fair to compare copies of someones interpretations of spider man. The comics are always(most of the time) going to be better, then screen writers will do their best to math the movie with the current audience (their targeted demographic). To us, Toby Maguire is and always will be the best spider man. But to the younger kids (the newest generation), its going to be Tom Holland hands down. He's small, looks young, and has some similar problems that the KIDS are facing (Toby was mature for kids), his gadgets also excite the minds of this tech savvy generation. Therefore , its not fair to compare different versions of a franchise, its all someone opinion anyways.

Aunt May to me is an underrated character in these movies. She actually contributes to the plot in all 3 movies. Tom Hollands aunt May is just the hot aunt. 😂

This trilogy never really showed him trying to balance out school, basic life, and Spider-Man. It barely went into Aunt May figuring something was up. And by the time he’s Spider-Man he’s basically in school anymore. Spider-Man has almost always been a kid, in High-school trying to figure everything out. The MCU really nails that. Also having Tony Stark back Peter up is realistic. He’s just a kid. He may be a kid who’s damn ass smart. But still just a kid. It’s not realistic that Peter Parker made a whole Spider-Man spandex suit on his own. It’s not realistic that Spider-Man suddenly knows every lesson in being Spider-Man. It’s not realistic that Aunt May doesn’t give a crap where the hell Peter is all the time. It’s not realistic that Spider-Man, who just a kid, can always hold himself up. Everyone needs back up. And a mentor.

I grew up with Tobey and I think all the spider man actors are great in their own way. Tom Holland makes a perfect Peter Parker, Andrew is a good spider man and along with the dynamics and visuals. tobey is both a good spiderman and Peter Parker imo, honestly I like them all.

I feel like this Peter Peter went through more stuff than the newer ones. His uncle died (of course), bullied everywhere, had many problematic issues with his girlfriend, his best friend Harry turns on him and eventually dies within the end of spider man 3. Theres more but I can’t be bothered to state them all.

Tobey's spiderman is a literal punishing bag in spiderman 2 , he suffered from lots of problems and slowly gets his heart ripped out of his chest . Peter lost nearly everything because of spiderman and yet he still choose to do the right thing even though it causes him even more problems . People care about the underdogs , people whom life treated them badly . And that along with Tobey's life been relatable to lot of people makes his adaptation the best . maybe second to the spectacular spider man .

I was watch more superhero movies, but this movie for me is the best superhero movie, cz too relate with this reality life.. Best legacy from Sam Raimi

Just the fact that these movies really had a story behind everything. Peter stressing about life whether choosing to stay as Spider-Man or not, causing his powers to fade. I don’t see no story in Tom’s spidey. He’s just making jokes every other minute. I feel like this movie was really based on Peter Parker living a normal student life and also being Spider-Man.

I mean he has different things in his personality that could make teens feel like they could see themselves in him. I mean the main thing is he's imperfect, that's what I assume what some teens like about him. He's not perfect, he doesn't do everything right, that's what they love about him. he's just quirky.
