About Spider-Man Movie:
After incorporating elements of comic book style and design into many of his films, director Sam Raimi helms this straight-ahead, big-budget comic book adaptation, which also marks acclaimed young actor Tobey Maguire's first dip into live-action blockbuster filmmaking. Spider-Man follows the template of the original Stan Lee/Steve Ditko source material, with hero Peter Parker an orphaned, intellectual teen loner living in Queens with his aunt (Rosemary Harris) and uncle (Cliff Robertson), and dreaming of the girl next door, Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst). On a field trip to a Columbia University lab, Peter is bitten by a genetically altered spider and overnight he gains superhuman strength, agility, and perception. At first, Peter uses his powers for material gain, winning a wrestling match with a purportedly lucrative prize. But when Peter apathetically fails to stop a burglar from robbing the wrestling arena, a tragedy follows that compels him to devote his powers to fighting crime -- as the superhero Spider-Man. When he's not busy fighting crime in a spider suit, Peter moves into an apartment with his best friend, Harry (James Franco), and begins work as a photographer at the Daily Bugle. Meanwhile, his do-gooder alter ego finds a nemesis in the form of the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), a super-powered, megalomaniacal villain who happens to be the alter ego of Harry's father, weapons-manufacturing mogul Norman Osborn. Spider-Man was written by the prolific blockbuster scribe David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Panic Room).

Yeah because evenwhen Sandman was hitting down on Spider-Man in Spider-Man 3 while Venom was holding him down, they were distraught as hell. That`s were I pointed out just now that people don`t always see it that way. So things don`t always work in the way The Goblin sees them.

It wasn't cheesy and people referring to it as cheesy is why the TASM films were so stagnant. Having wonderful rousing moments where the action is firing off on all cylinders, all the extras are getting involved and the music is swelling is what this sort of film is all about and conveyed the message that Spidey is at the end of the day a New Yorker and that New Yorkers stick together even through the worst of times. A message that the city desperately needed at the time when standing in the face of terrorism. The emotions run high here and you just don't get that anymore.

One of those rare scenes where marvel citizens are depicted as being useful and grateful, and not the paranoid, xenophobic, willing to throw the heroes under the bus and make them give up their freedom to feel safe, see villains as heroes when they "work" for the goverment morons they usually are...especially during Civil War and Dark Reign for example...thats why i love this scene because it shows that not all people are like that. Not everyone is a Jameson or a Senator Kelly....or worse, a William Stryker. Some people say HELL NO to the crazy clowns detonator schemes, and throw trash at goblins on gliders :)

Actors don’t scream like how we all normally do, which is from the throat. Screaming from the throat causes things like losing your voice. Actors scream/project from their stomachs, which not only deliver an even louder sound, but prevents sore throats and lost voices from occurring.

Good news if this is true: Sam Raimi is directing Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness. That being said, alongside Sony’s claim that they are interested in doing a live action Spiderverse, there is a chance that we might not only see Tobey on the big screen, but we might also get to see him swing alongside Tom and Andrew. But one can only hope...

It was this scene that made me a Spider-Man fan. On the one hand you've got MJ, Peters true love and on the other a bunch of kids in need of a hero. And when he made the choice he didn't just chose to be Peter Parker, he didn't just chose to be a hero. He chose to be Spider-Man and the thing that Spider-Man is great at is quickly calculating a way to be able to save EVERYBODY and get himself out of impossible situations.

This movie couldn't have came out at a better time... It was 2002 and 9/11 had literally just happened only months prior so it was the freshest thing in everyone's minds, and the fact that New York now had a superhero to defend it must have meant a lot for its people back then (and probably still nowadays aswell). Lots of symbolism and metaphors in this movie, especially the quotes at 2:35.

Even though this trilogy had a lot of great moments, this scene and the train scene are my favourites by far. Spider-Man's relationship with New York and New Yorkers is an iconic part of the character. It shines so bright in this scene! The dialogue and emotion are spot on. I've enjoyed every version of Spider-Man on film in the last two decades, they've all been fantastic to watch, but this dynamic is something that I really hope they bring into Tom Holland's future Spider-Man movies.

This climax still feels so thrilling, like the bets are real, even without all the show and the total mayhem in most of nowadays movies. Remember to actually fear that Peter could die in this scene.

0:15 I liked how both the citizens of New York and MJ reflect on each side of his lenses.
