There's another somewhat lost Spider-Man video game and that is the world trade center version of Spider-Man 2 enter electro. Essentially the final level took place on top of the twin towers but the September 11th attack happened right before the game came out and they altered the buildings to resemble a new building. Copies of the original do exist but I think they're pretty rare and I don't think they ever got an official release.

9/11 was 2001 Spider-Man 2 was 2004. There was a trailer for the first movie with the towers that was pulled at the time but it’s easy to find

@@michaelblaine6494 not Spider-Man 2. I'm referring to the PlayStation 1 video game Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro which was released in October of 2001 but it was scheduled to be released earlier that year but they pushed it back to alter the ending due to It featuring the Twin Towers.

Nah, pre-9/11 version is actually not that rare, it's very much possible to find a copy. It has been dumped, too, you can easily get a disc image of it online. This version was _supposed_ to get pulled from stores before being released but some number of copies has managed to make it onto the shelves and into the hands of the consumers.

The scene where Jameson plays make believe is in the Spider-Man 2.1 cut of the film, and the sand castle scene is in the Spider-Man 3 Editors Cut

Shame for all those lost early videos. Spiderman used to be a regular guest on the show"The Electric Company"

On the topic of Josh Keatons voice lines in the game, a missed piece of lost media incluedes his preformance as spider-man in Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heros Originally Josh Keaton voiced Spider-Man for the episode Along Came a Spider but at seemingly the last moment he was switched out for drake bell, a line from Josh Keatons Peter actually exists in the episode but the rest of the voice lines are lost to time unfortunately

Just realized also, that issue of Computer Gaming World lists The Venom Factor as coming out Spring 1997, while the cover date of the magazine is May, 1997. This perhaps lends credence to the Venom Factor being close to or virtually completed at the time of its cancelation

What about comics? Stan Lee wrote and John Romita [partially] draw a 100 page comic for Spectacular Spider-Man #3 in the late 60s. The line got cancelled and as a result, this issue was never released.

There was a planned Ultimate Spider-Man 2 for consoles but they only went as far to concept art it was gonna be a snowy NYC I forgot what video I saw it from but it’s there

I frecently just discovered the 'Don't Hide Abuse' video, and I'm shocked to learn that this exists. Though I'm not surprised that the animation was farmed out to Akom because it doesn't come off as heroic, and lacks autonomy.If I saw this in my school, I'd probably be ashamed of it's existence because I kinda expected something more from Spidey since I was reading Todd MacFarlane's run at the time. and this was made around the same time as 'Pryde Of The X-Men'. Also, someone needs to get Linkara to review those videos as a Patreon sponsored review, and if I knew how to use Patreon, I would do that.

Omg, there was a 2D Spider-Man game that I used to play at the desktops at my local library. The game featured different Spider-Man suits and I don’t even remember what it was called. Somebody help me!!! Edit: I played this game in the late 2000s early 2010s. I was a very young kid at the time.

the amazing spider-man deleted scenes aren't "lost media"... we know exactly who has them and who is in possession of them. and we've even seen a few of them. not sure that classifies as being "lost"

Disney doesn’t own Spider-Man. Sony does, so they’re still probably with Columbia.

Sony only owns the rights to make Spider-Man films. Everything else belongs exclusively to marvel. Even the toys for the films Sony makes are owned by marvel. Sonys grasp on Spider-Man is hanging by a thread and they won’t let go. I honestly can’t blame them since it’s honestly the only thing keeping their film studio alive. Anything else Spider-Man related does indeed belong to Disney. Sadly.

Yes they do. They own the Spider-Man IP outright. Sony, however, owns the film rights.
