That’s not actually true. Marvel confirmed what happened. Marvel and Sony were in talks with bringing Spider-Man into the MCU and wanted to use Andrew and make TASM3 as a way to bring him in. Marvel wanted someone else so they cancelled the movie. It wasn’t bc he got “sick”

Fun fact: The Sins Past comic was originally going to have Peter be the father of Gwen’s kids, but someone decided that this would make Peter seem too old to the audiences and figured the better option was to tarnish the memory of Gwen Stacy by having her cheat on Peter with the Green Goblin. Those same viewpoints are also why One More Day exists and why Peter is constantly reset and never allowed to get back together with MJ and settle down. For a character who represents growing up, the writers never seem to allow him to fully grow up the way he should

Great video! Also, my favourite film of the two is definitely TASM1. Also, looking at the TASM2 suit, I can definitely see the Ultimate Comics inspiration, but I can also sense some Todd Macfarlane vibes, with the abundance of webbing like how Macfarlane drew Spidey.

Hey! I know I’m a little late but at 4:09 you mention that the TASM universe was cancelled because Andrew Garfield didn’t show up to the announcement of TASM 3. While that might be true, I’m pretty sure the real reason the TASM universe and TASM 3 were cancelled was because TASM 2 failed with critics and disappointed in the box office, and Sony decided it would just be better to put Spider-Man in the mcu.

The Miles Morales suit was just a concept suit that they took inspiration from for the movie before they stuck with the final suit desing

11:41 I nearly pissed myself when you mentioned them. They are very nostalgic for me and I had a blast playing them as a kid even though they weren’t of the best quality. This part made me want to get them again since my mom sold them along with my ps3 without telling me years ago. I managed to find the first game for a very cheap price but the second was only 5/6 of what a recently released triple A game would cost. I’ve ordered them both but I also need to get a ps3.

andrew tasm was going to be planned and become apart of the mcu. since avengers and tasm films came out in the same year. then sony was against it and decide not to be apart of the disney-marvel continuity and tasm and even raimi spiderman will be it it's own separate universes.
