Spider-Man isn't a streat tier in terms strength and speed etc but he does street tier related things all the time

Yes but the dude is also capable of breaking every single bone in king pins body one by one. So ya know.

As far as speed goes, we cannot always use spiderman dodging lightspeed attacks -- his prediction power is mostly to credit for this. But, maybe im wrong on that, good video.

Even with spider sense being taken into account it's still a speed feat for Spiderman. Because he still has to react to the danger & be fast enough to get out of the way. Just because you know somebody is going to shoot you doesn't mean you can avoid the bullet. If he wasn't fast he'd get hit by attacks much more often than he does.

@@dreadheadbandz1943 almost -- if I KNOW you are going to shoot me with something faster than me (a gun) I can still move out of the way of the way you are going to shoot; This is how people avoid bullets in real life. Now, instead of a bullet, spider man can predict MUCH faster things which he has been shown NOT to dodge on reaction. Instead, he can predict these attacks well in advance -- he has a much wider margin of when to predict before it's too late, since he IS very fast.

He’s an underachiever, or a local hometown hero. He has the powers to be A-list but chooses to work mostly on street goons and B-list villains. He can go Avengers Mode but doesn’t see himself as being at that level

Spiderman damage resistance holding him back. A bullet or stab wound could mean death for him

I think people confuse Spider man with street tier because he is a friendly neighborhood super hero. Luke cage is also this way and Iron fist but both of those guys along with spider man would be hard pressed to be called street level as well. Since they help the local neighborhood, it seems that way.

you can probably loop it to infinity in each stat which makes scaling as a whole useless.

And on this note, most “street tiers” aren’t even street tiers. People like Batman, Captain America and Iron Fist can fight gods and take hits from attacks that would just vaporize a normal human.

at the end of the day its all about writers intent. But to add some consistency I would put Spider-man at least at the cosmic weight class comparable to weaker versions of thor and hulk because the most defining feat of his career was blitzing and completely knocking out firelord (a herald of galactus that does not scale to silver surfer but is able to match the regular savage hulk). And he is easily Faster Than light in at least reaction speed, due to him casually dodging light speed attacks on the regular. and just to clarify cosmic class does not mean Spider-man can destroy the planet. He does not have the physical means to output that AP with just his body unlike Thor and Hulk. I just mean that his hits have the necessary AP required to hurt either of them or endure their attacks.

@@kimetsunoacademia3528 Exactly, I highly doubt the writers intended spiderman to be cosmic level. This video is just taking advantage of silly writing that could apply to almost any hero. And to be fair he's pushing it. Mysterio aiming at spiderman and raising his hands to shoot electricity is not the same as dodging lightning from the sky at a moments notice.

@@piercemchugh4509 I wouldn't necessarily discredit, True that his rating and scaling maybe out of left field a bit, but Spider-man's feats are very consistent when it comes to cosmic tier characters. So there is a lot of truth to what he is saying.
