They did Venom JUSTICE in this game. I can’t imagine how well they will do for Carnage. The carnage that scared me the most when I was a kid, was from the PlayStation One, Spider-Man game. With his Maniacal laugh, him throwing symbiote daggers at you, and his high pitch, screeching voice that was unsettling. Freakin hated that guy 😂

I just looked and miles has three suits that are symbiote like in the game. Absolute carnage suit, the dark age suit and the king in black suit.

@@axceljulio5747 I'm think that, like Peter, he still has some piece of it left and what remains is less dominant. Perhaps all the senseless death caused by Carnage brings it out. Perhaps the DLC will have Peter discovering the healing properties of the white symbiote and he uses it on Harry. To stage up the third game, the Anti-Venom symbiote would probably be lost or used up at the end of the DLC. However, given the darker themes and Norman's fated downfall, Harry would probably be stuck as Venom full-time.

Cletus said the line, Carnage! I was disappointed he got away, but hopefully they’ll get him in the next game. It wouldn’t kill Wraith/Yuri to ask Spider-Man if he’s all right after she saved him. It’s good that she saved him but still she could’ve said it just shows that she still cares for him.

I’ve always wondered WHY it does that. Or why the other symbiotes have specific colors. Is there a reason the symbiotes have colors, or this one changes from black specifically to red? Like is this THE Venom symbiote? Sorry, I don’t know the comics very well

9:55 Not sure if anyone’s mentioned this yet but the silhouette ripping his chest open is VERY similar to Peter removing the symbiote. If that’s the case then Insomniac was teasing the Flame being Carnage before we even saw him!

Man, we haven’t seen Yuri for 5 years after the whole Hammerhead situation. Last we saw her, she was going to far to kill Hammerhead for that.

I know people are thinking Green Goblin and Superior Spider-Man are gonna be the third game’s villains. But between Carnage being styled as herald of the apocalypse, Peter still having Anti-Venom by the end of the game, and the symbiote-spawning meteorite having a spiral symbol. I think they’re building up to Knull.

Since the Flame cult is an off shoot of another group Yuri thought she stopped, and looking at their symbol on the roof that starts the second mission, I think its a big chance Cassidy is a defector from "The Hand"

Just finished the Flame subquests and gotta say, I do love how they handle the whole philosophical debate over killing one dangerous psycho to save hundreds. Usually, when they make that argument, they take a hard stance, either by making the "heroic killer" kinda psycho themselves (like Punisher or Deadpool), or worse, they take a generally good hero, who's push to that point where death is the only option, and after that, they turn evil (like Injustice with Superman). I do really despise that second version, too, because they don't really make an argument about killing the psycho villain or not; they just completely turn the character evil AFTER the fact! It's all the fascist s**t Superman does afterward that is evil, but is killing Joker a bad thing? Maybe, but they don't dare touch that question. But here with Wraith, they dare go there. She does believe that some villain, psychotic ones like the Flame here, needs to be killed so that hundreds can be saved, and Spider-Man disagree. But they don't turn her into a psycho herself, or some fascist control-freak, or anything like that; in the end she's still about saving as many lives as possible. It's a different ideology, that puts her at odds with Spider-Man. And sure, maybe she's wrong about it, but the game dares actually ask the question, put both her and Spidey's opposing ideologies on screen, with the consequences of each, rather than just turn her bad. I can appreciate. Hopefully her character stays like that and she doesn't turn into a Punisher or a Injustice-Superman or something.

This is where the line between hero and anti-hero becomes vail. A Hero never kills to save people because they also save the bad guys to face justice but an Anti-Hero KILLS to save people. And the Heroes will always the Anti-Heroes that choose to kill all because they can't make the choices themselves to kill

The amount spiderman can lift is so inconsistent. He should be able to lift the train.

it's not about the train, it's about the physics behind it. like how in the boys homelander wasn't able to make that plane land safely, because he had no proper point to stand on. he could lift that plane, he just didn't have the proper position foor it

just to point out, the black symbiote isn't Carnage it's actually venom, i guess we will have eddie brock so the real venom in the spiderman 3 or in the future DLC's Carnage is red ad spawns from venom's mass and blood of Cletus so we will have the true venom returning since the ones on harry seems Venom II an experimented clone of the original one Oscorp was gatekeeping the real venom to make him spawn other symbiotes or cures like a machine

Green Goblin may be the next main villan for Marvel's Spider-Man 3, but another threat could be Carnage.

I’m already hearing plans for another Spider-Man Spinoff, featuring Venom. I’m gonna assume that Eddie Brock will be the Protagonist of that game, and also with Cletus Kassidy in this Spidey Sequel, we can deduce that the Antagonist in the new game will be………..CARNAGE. Let’s hope it doesn’t take 2 years for the new Venom game to come out

The Civil War (from Secret Wars) suit, where Peter after all the same screw up like in the original Civil War, gets to make right by still being a hero, whether being Team Cap or not, only difference is that in there he has Falcon wings.

There's just so much in this game I forget about it the Spider-Bot Side Missions are one of them.

that Carnage namedrop (along with the The Flame's alias Cletus Kasady) gave me goosebumps.

I actually like this version of Cletus Kasady as a crazy cult leader in this Insomniac universe rather than a ruthless serial killer like depicted as in the comics. Also by going as THE FLAME 🔥. However I don’t think he as Carnage will be a villain in spider man 3 and would rather be in a dlc just like it was for Hammerhead in the first game. That be closing the symbiote arc. It will most likely be the return of Doctor Octopus and Norman Osborn becoming Green Goblin AKA spider man’s greatest villain. I like that Insomniac is changing the spider man characters up a little bit and how they become what character they are rather than the way in the comics and even adding never before seen characters too like Wraith, Scream , Silk, etc, careful selecting. Just like the MCU. You can see they haven’t put Gwen in here yet or Eddie Brock. I wanna see more of Yuri/Wraith though. 😁

We did get a name drop of Eddie in the first game, with the backpacks. Peter got a goodbye card when he left the Bugle to go into the research signed by everyone and it included Eddie. First time I saw that I got chills.

Im hoping Carnage will be in the next installment but he may end up as DLC. If he is in Spiderman 3, we may end up seeing Red Goblin or Monster Ock (I hope).

I would like them to make a spin-off where you play as some of the other cast. Like prowler and wraith.

@@bruhmanofyear2647 I watch the moon night show it got boring after a few episodes so no and we got the big daredevil show awhile ago we should give characters who haven’t had a chance to have a proper good story to come out give them that story we don’t need to keep adding Stacy account is that already have a story it just doesn’t make sense. We should allow the new characters to bring something we have never seen before.

Why would you spoil the plot twist/reveal in the title? The whole thing is building up to that. Knowing ahead of time just deflates it because then you already know what the Flame's whole deal is. It's meant to be a mystery.

It would be great if Carnage’s story in next game or DLC will be inspired by Web of Venom: Carnage Born.

Sounds like it. Oscorp stole his research but still has symbiote stuff. Otto’s body is almost completely shut down and his personality is going nuts. The symbiote does make your mind go insane. It honestly seems like the most likely option and would be SO cool to see. Imagine an eight armed symbiote!!!!

I didn’t play much of the dlcs from the original game and was wondering where yuri was I was surprised to find out she would be in the flame missions

Why did they decide to make Spider-Man get trapped under a train? He stop trains before, but why do they want him to get trapped under there? Just so they want to have a scene where Cassidy can talk to him? Also can’t they do like a boss fight with Cassidy? I know he will become carnage, but that’s for another time.

Is that the abandoned hospital from Spiderman the movie 2002 ? I don't know about you guys but this is bringing back a lot of memories of the final fight between Spiderman and the goblin but In 2002 Spiderman the movie

they werent afraid to show a decent amount of blood this game, including kravens head being eaten. spiderman 3 with carnage should be rated M, that way they dont have to hold back with his powers and scenes.

Kind of stupid that she swings that synth around like a hook then jumps from point to point... The distance should not be as great as it is... She is a regular human after all right??
