I was brought up on a diet of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Uriah Heep, Hawkwind and Black Sabbath so I found the Spice Girls quite refreshing compared to the diarrhoea of boy bands. Big up the Spice Girls!

My youngest aunty still has an entire unopened can and box of them she won here in New Zealand when she was 12-13 it’s a special edition box with both the peach flavour and strawberry flavour, and the can is one of the promotional ones all the girls in the family got at Christmas. She also has a can of the spice girls impulse, My cousins and I sprayed a little of it years ago when she was at work, she smelt the aftermath of it when she got home and she went absolutely doolally at us 🤣🤣🤣 we hid behind our nana 🤣. Looking back, I’d had done the same.

I remember the deodorant. I loved them so much, they were my idols so I thought the deodorant would make me smell like them. Yeah I was a weird lonely teen. Only 12 years old.

The Pepsi GenerationeXt commercials celebrated the young generation of the time, and the ones with the Spice Girls were HUGE, aired on MTV non stop, brings back cool memories.

they are so adorable ♥ what sets the spice girls apart from Every other musical group is that they all have their own distinct personalities. Almost like cartoon characters. They manage to blend in with each other At the same time as standing out on thier own individually. That's what makes them so iconic! Love these girls! :D ♥

Gee, I was 10 and I was head over heels in love with Geri. Even now when I'm watching this footage, the feelings are coming back. What an amazing girl she was and what a gorgeous woman she is now.

I had the Impulse spray but never the Polaroid camera. It was something I always wanted but never got despite having pretty much everything else they brought out.

I remeber been so disappointed when I got the Pepsi cd as the song was different to the advent, but then the spice world album came out and it was called “move over” I always thought it’d be called “generation next”

We only saw the Pepsi adds in America but seeing theese commercials I can see why my sisters said they were sell outs but honestly I could watch and listen to them all day long !!!!🤣🤣🤣

Omg... I had forgotten about the Pepsi ad! I was 13 at the time and completely obsessed with them, but my ultracatholic parents wouldn't let me listen to their songs, so whenever this ad would show on TV, it felt like a treat.

I'm surprised that they never did a commercial for the ChupaChups lollypop and their books.

I loved the Spice Girls. They were awesome and truly ground breaking. Geri was my favorite and I was really gutted when she left and the Spice Girls really wasn't the same after that. I remember 5:08. The Move Over Generation X song from the Pespi advert was awesome.

How I miss their antics.

Watching the Spice World movie ad and thinking, wow, Vicky’s dress is unusually long. Then it call came back to me when she asked “Does my dress look too short?” and she hikes it up. 🤣 wow, the memories!
