speno rail grinder horn pt2 (read description)

after a two week trip through the workshop here's the second test of this unique 5 chime horn.
the second half of the video features a genuine Nathan P5 for comparison (recorded from the other side of the road)

    proper p5 at half stage sounds a bit like how g529 and 543 run around. blocked in a few trumpets

    Sounds just like the p5's on the G classes ie. 526 to 543 except 532.

    It sounds like an 80, 81 And a G class, it sounds better than the official p5

    The p5's on the 81's have a bit of a chirp. The V/Line G's that have p5's a more mellow sound

    Not all G classes have p5's. G's 511 to 525 have the bigger Leslie RS5T horns including G532. However over the years, G511 and G512 only have Leslie RS5T horns at one end only and G521 traded it's Leslie RS5T horns for p5's
