    I recall the 2002 movie "The Time Machine" where the time traveller went to the year 635,427,810, or about two thirds of a billion years into the future. The movie showed the Earth as having more of a rustic-colored sky filled with heavy clouds (and of course a whole bunch of those skull-shaped Morlock cave entrance structures).

  • @VOMITQUEEN

    @VOMITQUEEN

    3 жыл бұрын

    I read about how life on earth would be around that time (over 600 million years into the future) .. realistically Morlocks wouldn’t even be able to survive... 99% of all plants would go extinct (because Carbon dioxide levels would have plummeted), and because of that.. oxygen levels would be very low Any type of animal life would probably have an impossible time surviving because of that (unless the morlocks have evolved some insane survival strategies) other than that... I think the movie got the future earth almost right It’ll definitely not very hospitable for sure And Multicellular life in general is due to go extinct in about 800 million years as well

    Infarlock We all come from fusion reactions within a star that died. Considering the solar system is approx 6 billion years old, the star that created the heavy elements needed for our existence was likely a giant that went supernova. So yes, our remains will be on a sweltering Earth for awhile and most likely be swallowed by a giant Sun. But it also might lead to a new beginning elsewhere in the galaxy. Who knows? Maybe “we” have already been through something similar billions of years ago.

    We would move on leaving our home planet long before this happens all while saving as much of Earths eco system as possible and I doubt for one second we would forget about Earth. I’m sure the parents of the future will tell the story of a once back water planet some 100s to 1000s of light years away, floating in a void of space long forgotten. Just like the story of Atlantis and one day the story of Earth 🌏

    No, he's right. All the water vapor would massively increase atmospheric pressure and cause a turbo-charged greenhouse effect, just like it happened on Venus.

  • @thedoom3084

    It happen on billion years ago. when Venus was calmer. greenhouse effect was a lot lower and temperature was 15. and water was in liquid form. And an maginetic field. after billion years. i think that an asteroid impact and the maginetic field go off and the radiation & solar wind will evaporate the water and increase the greenhouse effect get high and the temperature increased the air get solar wind and become carbon dioxide. and the Venus is like today.

    My theory is that Venus was always like a hell. In the early days of Earth, it was approximately 230 C where water could still exist at Venus-like pressures. Venus was slightly hotter because it was closer to the sun, maybe around 300C. At that temperature, the water immediately evaporated as it escaped the mantle. Without water to store CO2, Venus remained high in CO2. It's conditions remained remarkably stable during the solar evolution.

    Future earth will be like present time mars... Just like mars use to be similar to present time earth... Makes you wonder if we go digging would we find anything on mars... within billions of years you wouldn't be able to notice the life forms that were on mars as they would of been buried rather deep... Makes ya wonder... Bastards probably hopped off mars to go to earth and had a crash landing and being humanity back to the beginning.
