Spencer's custom BMX idler and which idler YOU should use! | BMX Tech Tips
Spencer gets a little bit of extra Factory treatment, being a regular at the USA BMX HQ in Tulsa, the UCI Cycling World Cup Scene and at the USA BMX pro Series races, not to mention one of Supercoss BMX's Factory BMX Racing Pro's. And his custom idler arm that the infamous HinkDog of USA BMX built for him is one of the perks of being factory. Watch thru to the end, you might see how to get one your self.

1999 Sycamore BMX. My chain came off the rear cog at full sprint and I face planted on to the face of a jump. The impact destroyed my right shoulder and paralyzed my arm for two years. After three surgeries and 25 years, my arm is back to normal. If we had these chain guide options back then I’m sure I would’ve raced for years longer.

Keep it simple. Stick to chain tensioners.
so no way to run with v brakes? and open back dropout
